I suggest anyone who thinks all the girls in bars are older and unattractive to take a walk down Soi 6 around 7 pm.  There are more places opening it seems everyday some of these bars are packed with girls many younger and cute now.  Probably 100ś of girls just on that Soi.  If a guy cannot find a decent girl on Soi 6 there is something wrong with them.

I've seen her walking around Pattaya. In person, her face---without the filters---looks mid-40s and a bit haggered. The tattoos are stunning---as in sort of knock you over, rather than attractive---and other than as a human curiosity, are kind of off-putting. I know she makes money as a model, though her use in that field is severely limited.

 

Personally, I look forward to the day when the tattoo fad goes the way of the mullet and Leisure Suit. NOBODY looks better with tattoos, IMO. Young women with beautiful skin and lovely bodies mar what nature gave them all because of a silly fad that scars them for life and suggests what their profession had been. It also limits job opportunities, as, for example, banks in Thailand will not hire women with tattoos that cannot be concealed with clothing. I even see a lot of old fat foreigners getting tatted up with silly looking things that scream mid-life crisis. Maybe they saw tatts as a cheaper alternative to a Porsche for the MLC thing. To each his or her own, of course, but damn they look foolish.

True, when i see facebook photos of girls working in bars i kinda can guess the real stories, all desperate for money to support families back home, but having said that often they enjoy the excitement of Pattaya

Not tried Nana for a good while.....but even on the Skytrain, and walking from Asok, so many classy looking attractive women.... really puts Pattaya in a different place.

Afraid so , very many do of course, if they take a break they still yurn for the excitement although I suspect the alcohol together with the comradery of pals in a similar predicament plays a big part, and many do return.

Of course many don't, either leaving that episode of their lives behind simply accepting that is something they needed to do at the time, generally for family support reasons. Of course they still miss the buzz, but can come to terms with a more normal lifestyle, that's not to say that when an opportunity presents itself for an occassional visit with BF/husband later that they have forgotten how to let their hair down.

The sad ones of course are those that can never leave, possibly in with a bad group and/or boyfriend, introduced to drugs etc.  I wonder where those poor girls finally end up once the drugs and drink have taken the toll on their looks ?

You should not keep them to that age in the first place...

Sure most of them nowadays do not look good at all, overweight being the main factor. At the same time there were so many bars prior to covid, at it's peak, I could imagine that also plays a big role.

If there would be less bars, but good running again, you could automatically also see the prettier ones in a dense area. Now they are spread around, usually also fined early on the evenings already.

 

TBH, it got so boring to me, I now spend the money on more expensive food, drinks and the like for myself instead. Just when I really need it only.
