Curious as to the thought processes that cause you not to care about what Russia is doing now?

have you brought this up with any Russians lately here?

Confiscate

Impound

Seize

All their assets

Check all their belongings, tax them heavily.

Chop, chop

That's what would probably happen elsewhere in the world. Fat chance for that in Thailand...

Alexander Svetakov is close to Putin and been on the US official "oligarch list" for a long time. His yacht is named as one for seizure if docking in a supporting country. He's currently trying to sell his private Gulfstream G650 jet.

Still up to Thailand, they don't want major headlines and rock the boat yacht over this. I hope he enjoys his hols while Ukraine burns ????

Was moored off Bangrak for about a week. Probably moved to Chaweng side when those big winds arrived. Or maybe Samui taxi fares from Bangrak to Chaweng were too expensive. ????

Cloudbreak is identified as one of 14 megayachts listed in USA Today dated Mar. 5, 2022 in the article:

US and allies look to seize Russian oligarchs' megawatts among sanctions for Ukraine war.

Thailand should give any support required by the US Embassy to immediately "arrest" this ship for the purpose of transferring the ship to US authorities. It should ultimately sold by the US and proceeds used to bolster UKraine survival in Putin's war on Ukraine.

This ship represents war crimes by Putin against Ukrainians by its ruthless death/injury to innocent blood of Ukrainian civilians and wholesale destruction of Ukraine's infrastructure by Putin.

Thailand's failure to do so and treat the presence of this ship as a welcomed economic gesture stands Thailand against all peaceful democratic nations; and stands Thailand against security of SE Asian with in effect opposition to the US coalition of Asia-Pacific nations against tyranny.

4 billion super yacht.   It's not like the war just started, and yet they roam free......

So we should confiscate everything any Americans owns from this point too? To punish them for multiple wars, illegal invasions and the deaths of millions?

What logic is that with people nowadays, to punish all citizens of a country just because the governments actions. If you ask me we should do a hunt on all people who think and speak like this, and get rid of them ASAP, they are the cause of so much unrest globally.

"It seems money talks when it comes to getting Thailand's tourism going again post pandemic, notes ASEAN NOW."

And has always been the case here whether you're talking about tourism or avoiding jail!

The ship existed far before that, so please explain.

Maybe we should sanction my country too for building and maintaining it. And all the staff working on or for it. Then they can buy gold instead, that does nothing within economy and generates zero jobs.

This boat is currently based in Singapore and available for charter for 750,000 Euros per week.......

CLOUDBREAK Yacht Charter Price - Abeking & Rasmussen Luxury Yacht Charter (yachtcharterfleet.com)

Did you read the small print ? It says charter rate plus expenses. 750 Grand per week would have been a bargain (or is it ?) - but who knows how much the expenses would be. Gasoline, Crew, Food, Drink, any special extras ......

Better to free the guy from his worries - confiscate - chop chop
