They have been ordering this for 30+ years, as long as I can remember.   It never changes a darn thing.

  • Or else what. They will feel the full force of the RTP?

The hypocrisy is audacious and astounding

But is unfortunately, par for course in this country, and I don't believe it will ever change.

The law is the law and the RTP have to follow that, he suggested hopefully.

is he referring to the same law that allows Prayut to stay... the RTP and the government should follow the same law

Thats going to do it I am sure. How about financing the Police correctly instead and throwing out officers who are found to be Corrupt.

They should stop taking bribes forthwith but borrowing luxury homes, cars, watches etc from deceased friends is perfectly fine and the practice has been endorsed by a ruling of the NACC.

Only way to stop corruption in the RTP is to start afresh, i.e. bring in the army and start employing new recruits, that just might work, unless they start to become corrupted by those up higher.

Is this an indirect jibe at Prayut's promise to reform the RTP. The fracture between them is beginning to take shape. Will see.

I'd say, for whatever the motivation, a direct jibe as Prayut chaired the Police Commission since 2019 after he extended his PM position. So in effect Prawit's warning reflects 4 years of failure by Prayut to reform the RTP. If Prawit wants to be really in charge as PM, remove Prayut from ALL government positions.

Is this the new broom to try and woo voters, from a man only sitting there because he committed treason and, by extension, lese majeste, 8 years back. Last week ended with Thai political commentators pretending the Constitutional Court was not a broken, corrupt facade.

This week it's "I did not have sex with that watch", "I did not inhale that watch" and "when I said, 'grab her by the watch' it was just locker room talk" all rolled into one. This man really is everything nasty he's ever been accused of and likely much more.

Actually, his real crime was that he didn't share his unexplained wealth fairly amongst the others. He had to go.

And I suppose the honesty skills start at the highest level. I will " watch" you Prawit......

Wow! they will now have to give their cars, motorbikes. houses and holiday homes back as they wont be able to afford them.

The RTP - that critics say is merely a mafia organisation in brown - were told by Prawit at the meeting:

Good on him.

Does that mean the watches are going back?

Excellent journalism. 555555

The man means business, he is in charge the power has gone to his head with freshly dye hair at that and guess what he plans to run starting to like the benefits that comes along with the assignment. Smoke and Mirrors, grandstanding

" Got to practice what you preach that goes for everyone in government "

Last, in the photo don't turn you back " Curly " is about to put the shaft to your back?????

Prawit demanded action from the police to clean up their act.

The RTP - that critics say is merely a mafia organisation in brown - were told by Prawit at the meeting:

No more bribes

No inappropriate behaviour at all

No corruption in any shape or form

The RTP were to offer no favors and follow the law to the letter.

Or else.

Someone must be cutting in on this venal little toad's action..

Paraphrasing Henry Ford..."You cannot build a reputation on what you are going to do." Let's see how this goes.

The king of bribes dont want others take teamoney

Well he is the only one who is allowed to take it,

He need more watches starting price 250000 dollar and he he has a lot of them already.

The sleeping man woke up today

What can the police do.. do you know the pittance of a salary they earn?

How will they survive without bribes?

The biggest loser in bribes is the loss income for the country...

If any of those in power were serious about stopping corruption it would be so easy to implement!

Demand to see bank accounts and investment portfolios of the regional police chiefs.

I would suggest that an amoeba would quickly realise that the incomes do not match the money earned.

Joe Ferrari springs to mind wages 60k a month driving a 7 million baht car not to mention the properties etc!

It won't happen!

Prawit he's comedian ????????????

I wonder how he can say this with a straight face ????.

It's like Keith Richards telling people to end recreational drug use, or else.

Bad choice of joke, as Keith Richards is now completely drug and alcohol free!
