I thought after so many boggles, it was boggle proof. Amazing Thailand 1 1

And you could make a further argument that the entire bunch, especially Anutin, were incompetent. But now? Don't people learn from experience? Isn't that just simple evolution? Incompetence is no longer an excuse. Stupidity, arrogance, and perhaps indifference, yes. Maybe these guys are simply too rich to care. They certainly are some of the greatest flip flippers around. Indecision, fear and stupidity are a lethal combination. Hanlon’s razor and the Dunning Kruger effect explains all you reference.

Popular Post Derek B
Why should transit passengers be exempt from being vaccinated or not tested prior to departure? Personally I think a quick test testing prior to flying more important than vaccination unless in a high risk group. 2

Popular Post Henryford
So the new rule is unvaccinated must be tested on arrival. What is classed as vaccinated, 2,3,4 shots, including Sinovac ? What happens if you test positive? Do you need quarantine for 2,3,4, weeks in a hospital?

I have a feeling this is a "you need to test yourself and seek help off your own back if found positive" kind of things because I don't see them setting up quarantine centres again.

wpcoe
Two questions: 1) Does the Johnson & Johnson Janssen single-injection vaccine count the same as two of, say, Moderna or Pfizer under this new policy? 2) Is there a time period within which the vaccine(s) need to have been received? e.g. If I was vaccinated in 2020, is that good enough? Popular Post MRToMRT
This is an example of one of the reasons I chose not to continue to live in Thailand. The government (the cretins in the he gov) can just change its mind willynilly at anytime on anything and come up with something that it may or may not change at anytime without notice. 9 2

The USA and Canada basically said the Johnson and Johnson 1 shot was not safe as to many side effects. And not as effective as moderna or Pfizer. It was svut down quickly and only a small % got the jnj. Luckily I didn't get any side effects. As was suggested by the US government an exception was made that if you had the J&J you could go to front of line and get a good shot no matter your age. This was when they were queuing people for 2nd and booster shots based on age and risk. I don't think Thailand really cares much about if this ruling works or not. They just care to look like they care about Thailand's people while at the same time kissing china's <deleted>. If they allow sinovac they have shown they don't use science or have any brains that are educated. I'm sure in that meeting the subordinates were dying knowing what the fallout of their foolish leaders edict would be. But I'm sure afraid to voice their objections as this is the Thai schooling and mentality. Edited January 9, 2023 by Elkski 1
Popular Post AJS1954
All this because they didn't want to single out the Chinese tourists, this is where the virus originated, so why shouldn't they be singled out?? The country has been happy to allow entry to everyone until now, but because they don't want to hurt the Chinese feelings, everyone has to comply with these requirements. Popular Post swm59nj
Kind of odd these restrictions only last until the end of the month. Because of Covid rates increasing. And the influx of Chinese tourists. There has to be some sort of control. Some people complain about the adverse effects on tourism. But also complain there are too many tourists and how bad a number of them are. Complain about Covid restrictions in general and how Covid is actually nothing.. But when it gets bad complain about the quality, availability, red tape, getting a vaccine. Some of the complaining is just as chaotic as the new restrictions. 1 1

Popular Post crazykopite
This is purely to satisfy there Chinese friends they don’t want to be seen as only checking those coming from China so the idiots decided to make the ruling world wide and let’s not forget the Chinese vaccine was deemed that useless that all those given it in Thailand then had to be given an alternative vaccine . This new ruling is going to kill Thailand tourists industry unless they do a u turn very quickly 7 2
