Phuket – A gold bracelet worth 150,000 baht has been returned to a British owner in Patong by a Thai man.

 

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday, January 11th , Mr. Jakkarin Kongmueang, 46, filed a report to the Patong Police with the bracelet made of gold which is now worth 150,000 baht. He told police that he found the gold bracelet at a bar in Soi Bangla on January 11th.

 

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Friday, (January 13th), Mr. Ryan Ashley Horner, British national, came to the Patong Police to ask if anyone found his gold bracelet. To Ryan’s great surprise, police said yes, someone found it.

Lost it on the 11th went to the police on the 13th to ask if anyone had found it...

i don't get it: why to bear a so expensive bracelet when you are out "drinking" on the first place?

I bet that Brit wore that same singlet on the Gulf Air flight out to BKK via Abu Dabi.

Actually I am more interested in knowing what the cups were won for. Most drunk cop ? Most rounds fired off at a perp ? Most speeding fines issued in a day ? Cup for finding a prostitute in Pattaya (never handed out this one, now rusty)

Disappointing. Our sleuths didn't get to deem the case an insurance scam.

One should strip down the valuables before a night out on Bangla.........lol.  4-5 baht gold weight - lucky man......

Something strange between the gold bracelet and her clothes and tattoos, why isn't there a match? In addition, this bracelet is a women's bracelet.

The body language confirms the suspicions why hold a bracelet with two hands on both sides.?No sure from the policeman's side and from the other side too much hurry to get it.

 

But I'm sure the police have all the evidence that it's the rightful owner????
