Pattaya — An Italian man suspected of being high on marijuana hurled several items including a refrigerator at people below his balcony in Pattaya. Luckily, the man reportedly harmed nobody.

 

Officers from the Pattaya Police Station received a report of a foreign man who was on a rampage and threw items from his second-floor room at people on the street at 10:30 PM yesterday, May 3rd. They rushed to the scene with Sawang Boriboon rescuers.

 

The authorities arrived at the Charlie Place Hotel in Soi Buakhao in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district. A crowd of onlookers was watching the suspect, Mr. Antonio M, 43, of Italian nationality, from a safe distance as he hurled several projectiles from the hotel second-floor balcony such as a television, a vanity table, or even a big refrigerator.

 

Pattaya Police described that the man was in a state of frenzy and highly uncooperative. Eventually, police and rescuers had to storm his room and take him down. The authorities told The Pattaya News that they found three sachets of marijuana, rolling papers, and marijuana paraphernalia inside Mr. Antonio’s room. He was arrested and taken to the police station.

Well, who does'nt throw refrigerators out the door when high on weed? Almost got hit by 3 fridges just yesterday, damn pot smokers! 

Yeah, never really heard of weed strength.

 

Can't help but wonder if the chef wasn't a bit too generous with the penne alla ya ba.

Perhaps he was just moving out. What a donkey though, should’ve tossed him out too. This will please the reefer madness lot and that weirdo chuwit.

I think the 'cannabis' he smoked came in the form of white crystals.

Now he can watch his time fly by in jail !!

That is going to be a costly temper tantrum.

nearly got hit by numerous car drivers this last month on my pushbike, state of the useless overweight sugar and carb eaters.....????

What I really don’t get is anybody that acts badly in Thailand they blame it on weed how naïve and stupid our people believe this in Holland they very close shops there for over 43 years that sell weed. The government gets tax money and you never hear of any of this nonsense that is reported in Thailand the cause of people acting crazy is because of the weed you out maybe there’s a bottle of whiskey in there any alcohol made him act this way TIT

Speak to the people who wrote the article...... that is the impression it leaves. You are the dumb one for claiming otherwise, actually knowing nothing.   

I must admit. I suspect an alcohol bender, or other substances (along with the weed), were in the mix. Well, after he has paid for the fridge, and the TV and whatever else he got off the balcony, paid a bit to the boys in brown, get rid of him..... ie deport. The reality is  he could have done some innocent  person on the street below, serious injury. 

He probably saw what constitutes an "italian" sub at subway..........

A meltdown like this is rare and the average pot smoker will probably never see one.

 

As a retired magistrate I can tell you I saw this and much worse all too often.

 

THC induced paranoia is a very real thing and it destroys families.

He dropped to the floor pretty quickly when they came through the door.

 

A cannabis outlet near me has planned  ahead for such outbursts. They have opened literally right next door to a hospital. Not sure if that's for their customers or the patients next door.

I've been smoking that stuff for years, not a day has gone by when I haven't thrown a refrigerator out the window. 

Before I started that, when I was a kid, every day the dog would eat my homework.

I think you are right. What legalising weed will do will be do have an extra check on your checkout for the weed reek - and hopefully an extra 10,000 baht fine to have the room 'cleaned' and aired. 

The usual vitriol regarding 'Brit behaviour' is absent.....................

Living right above a Subway and having the munchies will do that.  Should of sent up a tray of Sub's and chips...
