You really are not looking very clearly at the situation.

That has to be the understatement of the year for that particular poster, because he is an out and out trump supporter and in his eyes, trump can do no wrong.

I would like to be able to classify his response as "confirmation bias" but it doesn't fit into that category, just plain brainwashed or stupidity, take your pick.

What the heck are you even talking about.  Seems that the dark days are for Trump supporters as there infallible leader is slowly spinning himself into a conviction.  Had the man just done as asked and kept his trap shut, returned the documents as asked, he would never be in the deep feces he is in now.  He can not help himself, he runs off at the mouth way to often and folks believe every word that comes from his lips.  Tell me how much you have donated to his defense.  I get e-mails by the dozens daily asking to support him, and I am not a Republican, nor a Democrat....go figure.

"...a good day for the rule of law!"

...only if it applies to the others that committed the exact same offences.

I also guess that, if DeSantis or Pence are elected, they will surely enjoy the sight on Trump imploring them for a pardon! ????

And enjoy it even more by saying NO WAY!

He hasn't been found guilty,  just indicted.

Others who took government documents, many classified, and refused to return them?  Who are these others?

Whilst I believe this is politically motivated, I would be glad to see Trump stand down from politics.

He's had his time, the future is DeSantis. The US needs fresh, younger blood than the current selection of stumbling, mumbling geriatrics on offer.

Sure but not desantis.

Surely the GOP has much younger highly intelligent, balanced, ethical, moral offerings, with no baggage.

Or do they?

Until I hear a single Republican congressperson condemn racism I'm going with they don't.

Without knowing the details of Trump’s indictment how can you say what offences have been committed by Trump, let anyone by others?

An interesting read for anyone on either side of the political fence. I like political history.

He’s our first “criminal president” they think, the first to have committed crimes to get into office, while in office, or both.

Most Americans, in this regard, are wrong, and it’s a tragic statement about both the way we teach American history in our schools and the way our corporate media deals with past presidential crimes.

If previous Republican presidents had been held to account for their crimes the way it appears Trump is about to be, Trump may well have not been as brazen in everything from his violations of the Hatch Act to the Espionage Act to his explicitly asking Vladimir Putin to intervene in the 2016 election.

Trump's own ex and or 'fired' attorney's / advisor's testimony etc have brought him down.... there's is no 'witch-hunt'. Going to be interesting if others are charged or are immuned from prosecution, interesting historical stuff ahead........

No they are not!

All those mentioned in the link(s) were not indicted as president!

They may well have been naughty boys but that does not change the point that they were NEVER indicted as (ex)/President!

They were not indicted at all. The point of the argument was that Trump may not have committed these crimes had the deterrent been in place. You possible didn't read the article.

Not only refused to return them but also apparently lied in claiming that they had returned them all.

Which is NOT relevant in terms of 'nobody is above the law' - nobody, never, including past presidents and GOD.

Very tepid response from the trumpers has the worm turned finally? Highly anticipating Tuesday when we find out the charges.I’m also enjoying watching the republicans wail and flail desperately trying to deflect…….

Correct. Should be an age limit 75yo max. Should also be a minimum 5 years work experience in the private sector to stop career politicians.

Trump should go play golf.

The claim was that they had returned all the relevant documents and Trump regarded the "love letters" to and from NK Kim to be his personal letters and his own property and the FBI thought otherwise .

There was Trump on tape for the E Carroll trial, the NY fraud criminal trial, the pending Georgia indictment for election and RICO crimes and now the Mar-a-lago indictment.

Trump's big mouth has been a doubled-edged sword having lived by it he now has fallen on it.

Donald Trump admits on tape he didn't declassify 'secret information'

Former President Donald Trump acknowledged on tape in a 2021 meeting that he had retained “secret” military information that he had not declassified, according to a transcript of the audio recording obtained by CNN.

“As president, I could have declassified, but now I can’t,” Trump says, according to the transcript.

So wait, then what your saying is that the warrant that was served only uncovered love letters?  Are you serious?  I guess you have not been watching or reading the same sources as I have then.  Are you selective on what you look at, and only look at pro-trump information? asking for a friend.

More lies from Trump.

president Biden got over 7 million more popular votes than Trump and also more electoral college votes at the 2020 presidential election.

That is why President Biden IS the president of the USA., and NOT the lying blabbermouth Trump
