A tragic ending to this man's life.  May he RIP.

  • "Brutally stabbed" as opposed to gently or humanely stabbed? And can we really rule out depression driven suicide ? Just a thought

  • Often conveniently non working.

Yes, many fugitives are buying a Costa-Rican passport to change their identity.

On those monthly rental rooms, there isn't daily room service.

Costa Rica drugs are cheap and plentiful especially Cocaine, drug mule not paid?

Lots of places especially small bungalow resorts dont do daily cleaning no more once a week, any extra you pay

How do we know it wasn't a robbery? Maybe someone wanted his private keys.

Resided there since 30th August. Immigration police are getting serious on overstayers by the looks of it! 🤔😝

Did you ever heared about a Tourist Visa:coffee1:

In today's release more of the stuff which gives the blokes at the Thai tourism promotion board headaches if not sleepless nights. It might result in only achieving 480% of the anticipated increase in tourist arrivals for 2023!

Very few "non criminals" pay for second passports, and with drugs also in room,

I was thinking the same, you never see "Gently stabbed 6 times"

Possibly a live by the sword kinda death.

Tons of Costa Ricans have moved to the USA and gained citizenship.  Nothing nefarious about that.

Regarding room service, I hang out the Do Not Disturb sign as soon as I check in, and only pull it down once a week or so for fresh towels.  I prefer privacy.  Not hard to believe he did the same.

Stabbing is a very rare form of suicide. The chances of survival are far too high.

Well, if using the crazy drugs, nothing is impossible. If it was a drug deal gone wrong, or some girl or guy visiting, its weird the 6K cash was not at least taken.

Perhaps he was on the run from someone already. Sounds more like a pay back.

Many "digital nomads" do get a second passport if they're able to. They also often have 2 phones. 1 for banking and 2FA, which is kept safely at home/hotel, and one with a local sim for carrying around.

Thank god it wasn't a Chinese tourist!
