Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nu-Kara on Monday assured the public that the plight of eight Thai hostages held by terror group Hamas in Gaza is not being forgotten. On Friday, the Israeli Ambassador to Thailand, Ms Orna Sagiv, was at hand as a 3 week Tuk Tuk publicity campaign was launched to remind the public about the remaining hostages still in captivity.

Israeli Ambassador launches Tuk Tuk campaign in Bangkok, urging the release of all hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. The 100-vehicle initiative aims to keep the issue in public consciousness. Additionally, it emphasises the enduring bond between Israel and Thailand.

Thailand’s Foreign Minister has assured the public of an ongoing effort to release Thai hostages still being held prisoner by terrorist group Hamas in Gaza. The comments by Parnpree Bahiddha-Nu-Kara came days before an Israeli-sponsored campaign launched on Friday in Bangkok. The Tuk Tuk messaging campaign aims to remind the public about the plight of the innocent people being held by the group.

This week, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Parnpree Bahiddha-Nu-Kara assured the public Thailand remains resolute in its mission to secure the release of eight of its citizens held hostage in Gaza.

The indiscriminate bombing of Gaza by the Israeli's just shows that the Israeli's don't really care about the hostages all that much.  They continue to prosecute this war with no regard to human life or calls for a ceasefire by many nations throughout the world.

If the genocide war against the Palestinian civilians will stop I suppose the hostages will get back to their families.....or had died already, killed by Israel's war machine.😕

Hard to pick a side on this, both wrong. I believe about 100 Israeli hostages are still  being held, I also expect over 100 bloodied and injured, or killed children and women are created every day by Israel.  It is overkill literally. 

I have to give it to the Thais that they don't need to be 'reminded' about their country's hostages. If I were a hostage, I'd be worried though, as my country gives a rat's a** about their own abroad...

The world should know that. And the responsible killers be prosecuted by International court as demanded by South Africa. Probably UN peacekeeping forces should be sent to stop that genocide.

I have never liked Bibi. Especially since how he behaved with Obama (and Biden) back 08-16. Nor do I like Israels  gradual takeover of the west bank. That said I find I really am less than interested about what happens to the Palestinians. That is in direct response to what they did when they began this attack, what they did to Thai workers. If that is the way you want to fight guess what; Israel can bomb the crap out of Hamas & Palestinian civilians for another six months I will be concerned only because it interrupts my football and basketball viewing. Som Nom Na.

And where is it you find this information about indiscriminate bombing? You are aware most of the hostages are Israeli, correct?

It is not indiscriminate. Blame Hamas for hiding in hospitals and the like.

Considering Thailand's lethargic reaction to the almost 2 million Ukrainian hostages held by Russia as a result of its 2014 invasion of the Crimea Peninsula, I'd imagine Thailand's reaction would be, "How will the current Gaza conflict affect tourism in Thailand."

News reports coming even from Israel show that is quite possible with the Israelis panicking in the first days and shooting anything that moved, even their own soldiers with white flags.  That says it all.

This is pure hypocrisy by Israel. It is very obvious the safe return of hostages is a very low priority to the right wing government.  If they cared about them, they would stop risking killing them with indiscriminate bombing and would be negotiating for their return.

   They need to be taught a lesson and in future they may decide that attacking Israel and murdering innocent civilians en masse, really isn't such a good idea after all .
