Check for mobile phone signals on all Thai networks. If you find a strong signal then buy a mobile internet package for that network (I live in Laos and only use mobile internet on a daily basis to teach).

You could use your phone as a hotspot, what sort of plan do you have?

a couple of options:

  1. You own a smartphone + mobile internet on it > use the Hotspot function
  2. Buy and use one ot these 5G/4G/LTE Cellular routers

Yes, used one of those for a couple of years as 3BB would only connect fibre if there were 5 subscribers. Not the best speeds but will be okay for the short time you are there.

Just for a few weeks

Do you not have a phone at all? don't get confused with the term 'Smart Phone' many cheap phones have hotspot capabilities. You could just buy a cheap second hand phone.

Suggest invest in a cheap 2nd hand phone, sim, & internet connection with hotspot,

Any phone shop will gladly show you how to use it

If no internet available in the area, then good chance phone signal isn't so great either, so phone hotspot might not help.

Check AIS & Dtac site for their service areas, and see what's available.  Wife has AIS, and myself, Dtac, just for that reason, as we go out & about to some very rural areas.  One usually works, and Dtac seems to be more consistently working when AIS is weak or non-existent.
