Popular Post snoop1130 Posted March 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2024 The Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Offices acquitted former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra and five other co-defendants today, from charges of abuse of authority over the bidding for the “Thailand 2022 Roadshow” project, worth 240 million baht. The court also revoked the arrest warrant issued against Yingluck. The Supreme Court voted unanimously to acquit the six defendants on the grounds that there is no evidence to prove that the successful bidder of the project was afforded any special treatment. Popular Post bamnutsak Posted March 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2024 This is the second case that the courts have "cleared up" for Yingluck. All that remains, I think, is the rice scheme "case". 3

anchadian Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 Surprise surprise, I would never have thought: Many individuals, including academics and the media, believe that Yingluck, who is now living in exile, might return to Thailand soon. https://twitter.com/KhaosodEnglish/status/1764605109315735931 1
Popular Post dinsdale Posted March 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted March 4, 2024 She should come back now. Go to jail for the rice pledging scheme. Rapidly become ill and go to the police hospital within a hour or two. Stay there for a little while (they have a nice room that recently became available). Get a Royal pardon. Get released on bail. Then be aquitted. 3 8

Popular Post spidermike007 Posted March 5, 2024 Popular Post Posted March 5, 2024 When the PT abandoned all pretense of ethics, morality and representation of the people, and jumped in bed with the ultra toxic army, it was a forgone conclusion that both Thaksins would be exonerated. It was part of the deal. This is the price Thailand is paying for the abandonment of democracy. 2 1
AustinRacing Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 If there is no evidence how is it that they were found guilty? Thai people want answers, they can handle the truth. Who ordered the code red? The General? 1

jippytum Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 Her bags are packed. More special treatment for the Shinawatra clan coming your way soon.

TheFishman1 Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 The fix has already been paid for soon she’ll be back and her and her brother make plans or schemes on how they can get more millions of dollars out of the country TIT 1

Wrwest Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 Up to Thais, of course but I'm thinking the reconciliation scheme is: Allow both overthrown Prime Ministers to return AND no retribution to those involved in the two military coups that overthrew them. Based on? Only speculation ... 1

Sydebolle Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 That went considerably faster than expected - well done Thailand! I assume that the little "rice scheme incident" disappeared under the biggest rug of SEA and we all can look forward to some new excitement coming from all those experts running the country - how lucky is the Thai tax payer!

Popular Post Shoeless Joe Posted March 5, 2024 Popular Post Posted March 5, 2024 Seems fair enough. Most, if not all of the charges against her were fabricated by the general(s) behind the illegal coup. Now the AN expats have another Shinawatra court decision to rant about. Joe 1 1 3
