I think the timing is irrelevant. It's not like they are fooling anyone.

My internationally educated fund manager (says: nothing will change. it is so (deleted) frustrating. as my Thai friends, say 'don't think too much' - a curse of the western educational system. 🙂

So next stop exile? Because there is no chance in Hell that Thaksin, the military, or the Royalist-Elite are going to ever allow this to happen.

It would but the current regime would find a way to close them down before that happens. Then there is always the backup coup option. ☹️

Ah but, if they do it during the run up to the election, that will attract international attention - face will suffer, -along of course possibly offshore monies if sanctions result!

The latest opinion poll conducted by King Prajadhipok’s Institute reveals that the Move Forward Party continues to command significant support among the electorate, with Pita Limjaroenrat being the favored candidate for Thailand Prime Minister.

Means diddly squat in Thailand...

LOL!!!!!

We have seen how "democracy" works in Thailand. Pita does NOT have a chance. The people's will be damned. The elite control everything in this country and will never allow that to change...sounds a lot like the USA!

Unlike the Myanmar people, Thai's lack a backbone.....otherwise they would demand change, and fight for it. Right now the the Elite, Military, and Thaksin say "jump", and the Thai people say "how high?".

And how often?
