Quite frankly it still sounds better than another one of Harris’s infamous speeches.

Well given that he is a convicted fraudster, an adjudicated sexual predator and rapist, and has just gone on record in a campaign speech as declaring that the next election is the last one you will need to vote in as " in four years he will fix it" then perhaps that is rather a good starting point!

My centre-ist interpretation of his comment is that by 2028, he expects to have improved the lot of all Americans such that many of those who voted Democrat in 2024 will vote Republican in 2028. Thus, the Replican party will not specifically need the endorsement or vote of any specific faction or group - in this case, Christians.

 

Rhetoric it may be, but it's his opinion, and far from inflammatory.

Christians? In the US they are really  being persecuted and disadvantaged. There are none on the Supreme Court. The Congress is full of Muslims and Buddhists. You can’t say Merry Christmas or celebrate Easter anymore. Looks at the CEO’s and corporate boards of Fortune 500 companies. All atheistic women, Jews, Hindus and Zoroastrians.

 

Really open season on so-called Christians.
