You mean like Putin who wants to restore the Russian empire?

Well, if you only choose to listen to western media I guess you will always be uninformed on certain aspects.

That's a big joke, signals he is loosing IOWA, and that's not even a swing state but traditional a republican home run.

The Iowa poll captured something that pollsters may have missed and may propel Harris to victory in this election.  It's the women.  If significantly more women than men vote in this election, Trump is toast.

[This shift isn’t just evident in Selzer’s Iowa poll. Look too to Kansas, where another long-running survey recently showed Harris doing far better than Biden did in 2020.]

[Both polls suggest a swing of around 10 points toward Democrats in solidly red states in America’s heartlands. And both find common cause for that swing: women.]

Or if I choose to to listen to Putins announcements and come to the same conclusion?

you can always listen to both sides and make and make your 'OWN' opinion based on that.

All that just to say how bad the Biden gang must be for people to continue voting Trump despite all the red, blue, white, rainbow lines he allegedly has crossed (or not). Much of the world is fed up in the current US policies and double standards, mainly in handling the current situation in Israel and the unfair stance against Russia in what is going on in Ukraine.

Oh dear me. Another ignorant Trump man.....

As a Brit looking in from the outside

It's going to be intriguing  probably as most of  the Pundits predict its  going to be close 🤔

May the best one win 🏆

The prediction markets don't see it this way. Indeed the gap is widening. Hopefully find out one way or the other tomorrow.

As I have said many times that's why looking at organisations that take the average from across the board and prediction markets may give a more accurate view. Taking a single poll as evidence is simply ludicrous.

Trump is going to hand over Ukraine on a silver platter and probably leave NATO. Emboldened Xi will then embark on completing  his life’s work of reunifying China, Invading Taiwan without a peep of protest from the US

Yeah, they want Harris.
Tell me more Einstein.

I think you'll find as time is marching on Putin is already taking more and more of Ukraine.

Did you ever read Shakespeare? You need to read between the lines.

It isn't about Trump. It's about the entire electoral process. Trump is basically telling you, if you learn to read between the lines, that the entire electoral process is a SCAM. Because democracy doesn't exist.

If it did, they wouldn't be acting so crazy. There might be 1000 candidates to choose from in a real democracy and they would need to work really really really hard to impress you.

But because it's a scam and the country is an oligarchy, they can crack jokes and act stupid all day long.

Because they already own the joint,

Me, I need to work for a living. People who own the joint can afford to act stupid all day long.

Don't waste your time voting. Go get a soapy massage instead.

The democracy becomes a joke with people who is not aware of their responsibilities!

Stupidity is what it is

I agree. Most of his supporters have no idea how dangerous and reckless he is. His fealty to the dictators, and his animosity towards the US allies leaves him very compromised. He is essentially bought and paid for.

I am not religious but am praying that Trump loses for the sake of the country  (even his cult members who don't understand how America governs) )and allies around the world...

Don't care what his policies are as he is unfit for the presidency on so many fronts including his criminal inner circle...Loved it that Epstein called Trump his "best friend" in a book released the other day...

Folks, character and integrity matters more than anything else...

Living in the past? OK, true as I recall the 2014 unilateral of seizing the  Crimea by Russia. Fault can be found in not seeing NATO react more strongly, I suppose, but then it would just have been accused of saber rattling.

Modern democracy which isn't really democratic requires that the general population is well educated and well informed through at least one unbiased media outlet, neither can be said to apply to the USA.

"unbiased media outlet", yes, we might need them for a better working democracy, voters may better understand where they vote for. However, this is in an ideal world.

Let's now look a countries like Russia, China, N-Korea. What do you think about their presence of an "unbiased media outlet" ?

Trump goes down only if the majority of the American citizens vote. We are all well aware that he has a well organized vocal minority dedicated to him alone. And some of us remember what is possible of a well organized vocal minority in history … thus, yes, there is an undeniable danger to the USA

but how do you know exactly how they are doing things when you only hear from Western media?  bbc, cnn, used to be in Russia, things only changed in 2014 when the Ukraine troubles began.

Why mention these three? they neither pretend to be democracies nor were they the subject of my post. Most news in the world is biased, there are rare exceptions but the listener is now incapable of discerning truth from falsehood and even if, it will be ignored if it goes against ingrained political views. There are swing states in the US because politics has nothing to do with logic in the US, the other states will adhere to 'their' political party regardless of the candidates suitability leaving only a few states who actually think about what is on offer, primitive tribalism. Since the West is basically ruled by the elite, conglomerates, central banks and the military industrial complex, tempered perhaps by the stock market and international events it makes voting just as pointless as the votes given by the central committees in China. It was Americas own Mark Twain who said if elections made any difference they would be banned.

Stupidity is what it is

Responsibilities to what? None of the candidates have policies that will improve anyone's life.

That's why the main focus of the threads has been Trump's criminal history and Kamala's nuttiness.

I don't see universal health care being discussed.

Democracy becomes a joke when all the candidates are a joke.

Sorry if that's too deep for you.

I hope so! But we won't know until tomorrow, or maybe even will have to wait days after that for the final vote tally.

Will have to wait until the morning , when voting has finished and all the officials have gone home and all the voting regulators have gone home and the office door is left unlocked as well as the polling boxes and the votes can be counted in the morning
