I’d avoid the child pornography site if I were you. That is no frivolous matter and whichever of the group was involved in that should get some very serious punishment. Adult porn is just people doing what people do.

I am a little surprised about this. Years ago, there were several well-known guys doing porn videos in Bangkok and Pattaya. The male performers found the girls in the bars. That was known in the bars and with the girls and happened for years.

At that time, it should not have been difficult to find and arrest all involved. But, as far as I know, that went on for years without arrests.

So, what changed? No tea money anymore? Some foreign NGO?

There is mention of some child pornography. No way that should be ignored.

Thai police launched a new operation dubbed Rabbit Slaughter: Suppressing Sex Creators, targeting both Thai and foreign nationals involved in producing and distributing pornographic content globally.

The operation seeks to dismantle a network including pornographic content involving Thai women.

Police, led by Saruti Kwangsopa, initiated the crackdown, resulting in the arrest of several individuals. These include 40 year old Benjamin Jon Wilkinson, a British national; 34 year old Andrei Gerbennikov from Russia; and 48 year old Volker Matthias Graul, a German national.

Others arrested were 32 year old Zvezdan Stojanov from Serbia; 26 year old Sangthian, 30 year old Thanasin, and 36 year old Rattana, all Thai nationals.

The arrests were made under warrants issued by the Criminal Court for charges related to the commercial production and distribution of pornographic material.

The charges stem from allegations that these individuals produced and distributed explicit content within Thailand, using the country as a base for their operations.

The material was reportedly sold worldwide, violating Thai law and tarnishing the country’s image.

This initiative aligns with an urgent policy directive from Police General Kittirat Phanphet to combat transnational crime using Thailand as a hub for pornographic distribution via online platforms.

According to Saruti Kwangsopa, foreign sex creators have exploited Thailand’s tourism backdrop, encouraging Thai women to participate in sexually explicit acts, sometimes filmed in iconic locations like tuk-tuks, a popular mode of transport for tourists.

The operation also allegedly involved Thai and transgender individuals and included collaboration with a well-known Thai sex creator. The investigation led to the issuance of warrants and subsequent arrests in various locations, including Bangkok, Chon Buri, and Suvarnabhumi.

During interrogations, most suspects confessed, leading to their transfer to the investigative division for legal processing. Investigators discovered a significant amount of child pornography in one suspect’s possession, prompting an extended investigation aimed at rescuing child victims.

If any further evidence of child exploitation is uncovered, additional charges related to human trafficking will be pursued, reported KhaoSod.

"tarnishing the country’s image."

Well, what image you're looking for? Family destination? Too late, since the GIs came to Pattaya to *relax* during the Vietnam ear.

"Thailand as a hub"

This is confusing since Thailand claimed always to be a hub. And now it's not ok??

😂🥺

Lmao tarnishing the country's reputation 🤣

as if Thailand isn't known to be a giant brothel worldwide, hookers and lady boys are the first thing that come to mind when you mention Thailand to people

However these people are idiots making content like this in public, idk what they expected

This isn't about child porn. Give the article another read. It says child porn was found in one persons possession.

Meanwhile, 20,000 people die per year on Thai roads, and a million are injured per year. Priorities a little mixed up?

I'm sure the cops that are investigating traffic accidents are watching the porn (for investigative reason of course) instead of investigating the traffic accidents..

I came across a few of those on the regular porn sites, and the girls truly looked like they enjoyed being filmed 🤮  Tuk Tuk or something

There was child pornography in this bust.

However Thai pornography has been going on for years as most know.

But draw the line at children, that's not on.

Whatever, I have different view on that kind of exposure and exploitation where many really do not know how far it goes, and will hit back on them later in life.

Most bar girls and especially Thai seems to not know how to say no

Well since there isn't a single traffic police officer doing anything about 10's of thousands of dead people every year, and the millions of injured and maimed, maybe the horny sex police can do something about it.

They mention the Tuk Tuk, that's clearly hint for a popular site 😉

These guys would likely be better off coming over for 3 months and producing 90 days' worth of material, then uploading it after they go, then doing the same in the next nation, etc. Use some common sense. If everyone is consenting it's harmless but the girls should be smarter and also film it themselves for OF or whatever at least get your own chance at future revenue.

Referring to this as "transnational crime" is a bit of a stretch, given that the content is perfectly legal in most of the countries where it's eventually viewed.

Honestly dick flicks are one thing but why not crack down on all the corrupted officials in the police, immigration, hospitals, orbitors, Mayor's, basically every ahole that wears a uniform in this country

Really?

It seems some of those girls received a lot of money for their published performance. And a couple of them did this not only once. They are old enough to decide what they want to do.

With those guys, at least as far as I know, they had to sign agreements, and they were told that the movies will be published on the internet. There was no surprise.

I am sure others just film without telling them. That is obviously a problem.

The real gem in this article is the part it seems everyone missed. One of these guys had a cache of child pornography. I don't care how adults choose to make money as long as they are not harming others, but when children are exploited and abused for profit, it's a terrible thing.

It is an ethical question, and for people who live in Thailand, and especially close to red light districts, and also frequently use the available options, might not see the same as someone who is a bit more distant from the whole scene.

From one end to another, some see use of bar girls as aid to families in Thailand, other end see abuse. I can agree both sides, but it is not up to you or me to decide.

I have met to many bar mongers, which many of them I truly despice just beacouse of their view on girls and especially bar girls.
