Police in Thailand have successfully tracked down two foreign men accused of stealing rental motorcycles from Krabi and riding them to Phuket. The suspects rented the bikes from Koh Lanta but never returned them, sparking a search that ended in their arrest.

Choeng Thale Police turned to Facebook for assistance, sharing images of the men and appealing to the public. The duo, last seen near a cannabis shop in Choeng Thale, illegally extended the rental period by more than two hours.

Authorities promptly recovered the stolen bikes, which included a black Honda Click 160 and a bronze Honda Click 150.

In a twist, the same suspects were linked to thefts from local convenience and cannabis shops, although details on these incidents remain scant. Thanks to tips from a local cannabis shop owner, the public's vigilance aided in swiftly locating the individuals.

Following the recovery of the stolen bikes, the daughter of the rental shop owner thanked the community for spreading the word and warned others to be cautious. Police have confirmed that the foreigners will face prosecution, but they have not yet detailed specific charges and penalties.

Officers are proceeding with formal charges, keeping the public informed as the legal process unfolds.
