As the most important figure in the world of politics, ex President Trump failed the country.  Of all people who needed to 'lead by example', Trump failed miserably in his response to the COVID pandemic when social distancing and wearing of masks could have helped control at least some of the infections and that resulted in 100's of thousands of needless deaths and in inciting the post election riots.  His actions leading up to and after the election were not in any way presidential but, in fact gave new meaning to 'dirty politics'.  Hopefully these failings will be remembered in 2024.  If he is to become the leader of the RNC, their future is doomed from the start.  So far, I am not impressed with President Biden or the Democratic political party either.  In a few short weeks the stock market is in turmoil, he cancelled the pipeline as it would supposedly damage the environment but the alternates to transport the oil anyway will be even more damaging to the environment and so much more.  I do agree with his decision to not subsidize student loan payments.  These were adults who new the consequences of borrowing money.  And, what about the many struggling to meet their mortgage and other payments?  Where do you draw the line?  Like Trump was, I feel that the next President should be a strong business leader but one who would listen to and act on the advice of his expert team of advisors and also not be a professional politician with close ties to special interest groups.

As for (D)s, the guy is likely the best thing that ever happened to them, because it makes it more likely (D)s will control the WH, House and Senate for a generation.

Does the Constitution permit a coalition to hold power in the US e.g. trumpists and traditional republicans?

Nihao Ma, I share your sentiment about the Chinese but not about Trump, he missed the boat in 2020.

He started up his fund raising again. Lots of stupid people out there.

People are stupid, in your opinion, for giving money to someone/a party they believe in?

Self-esteem low righteous judgement.
