So glad i got my prediction wrong, but it did take the introduction of an attacking player and some fine saves from our keeper to finally get the job done.

 

Question is does Southgate have the balls to start with an attacking midfielder against Ukraine in the next game. No reason for five at the back plus two defensive midfielders.

 

Actually shouldn't moan, we have just beaten Germany in a knock-out game for the first time in my life....it's good to be alive this morning.

The Dutch were humiliated in soccer, good thing im not a soccer fan nor a nationalist. I never got pride from it when they did well so i wont lose sleep over this. 

 

Still would have been fun if they had to face Germany. I never watched any matches ever but would always be interested how that match ended.

Always England, as frustrating as it can be....however, I did watch the 1966 World Cup in a German bar....and was in the Olympic Stadium when we won 1-5.......back of the net.
