A Thai man in Bang Bua Thong north east of Bangkok has come up with a novel way to spray against Covid-19.

We're calling it the "Disinfect-mobile".

It's a remote controlled robot that can get down narrow lanes and sois and into places where there has been Covid without putting anyone at risk.

It can be operated in a 1 km radius, uses high power sprays and can carry 200 liters of disinfectant.

Monchai Bunwong said it is a "hybrid" vehicle and he hoped it would inspire confidence in the fight against the virus, reported Daily News.

I thought I read, only yesterday, that scientists are now pretty sure that Covid is airborne and that washing places down, disinfecting them is not the right way to go. They said more emphasis on ventilation was needed.

Spraying the roads and small sois would be a complete waste of effort.

OMG, disinfectants must be sprayed directly on surfaces. Spraying in the air like that doesn't go on surfaces or kill COVID much at all, and people just end up breathing in toxic chemicals.

Looks like one of those cheap Chinese tanks that the army have bought ...

Spraying all the cars at the same time

The disinfection fumes looks more dangerous than the disease it's supposed to protect against...????

Latest scientific results says by the way that coronavirus practically don't spread from surfaces.

  • Popular Post

US CDC (now back in business) stated that chance of getting the virus off a surface is around 1 in 10,000. This disinfecting  seems a stunt to wow the peasants and make them think government is doing at least something

Presumably on a par with the other Muppets smart car.

I was going to make my usual off hand derogatory remark.  Then it occurred to me that my own country is full of people this clueless.

I noticed the HiSo hairdresser on our soi was spraying everyone's feet as they walked in. Forget about hands!

A  source  close to the govt  confirmed it  had been thoroughly  tested  on Anutins  gob with 100%  success.

Soon the Thais will realize there's good money to be made offering a fake covid passport under the table, Then those not wishing to take the vaccine will have the choice .

Why not just dump the disinfectant in the sewer.  Would be just as effective as spraying it in the air, saying nothing about people breathing it.
