In terms of finding anything serious or real, no dating apps or sites will help with that (few exceptions). Basically just lazy ones who never really talk, even they initially add you or people looking for money as usual. 

So the question really is what he wants to find, if he just wants a holiday GF I give it a better chance by visiting soi 6 in Pattaya or so. If he wants a boring ultra conservative girl with luggage, Thaifriendly might work out fine too. 

If he actually wants to meet someone properly, real life is the answer, and you do that by going out and about, not hiding behind a computer without even being here. Many bored farangs play dating sites to fool girls so they left long ago (while they are abroad and not here, girls will think its nonsense).

Anyway to properly answer: start 1-2 weeks before arrival on premium thaifriendly, be pro-active and message dozens of girls, pick some who seem to be realtime and go for a date saying you are now still down south or whatever for another week etc.

 

Profile requirements: a good description without too much to tell, 2-3 nice pictures, not less and make yourself 5 years younger, they are too stupid to tell anyway. As a 23 year old I used to get 2 girls daily in BKK that way, for taxi or food costs only or a thousand if they looked good enough.

Your friend needs to be a bit more specific.

No they do not, all websites cater to money orientation, left or right. Some might give you a ''relationship'' in return, doesn't mean the primary objective and condition is being paid in money or improve life and lifestyle.

 

Been working in the dating industry for 14 years, but what would I know (reading backend messages too). Maybe 3% is serious and straightforward and honest.

Met my school teacher wife on Thaifriendly in June 2015, flew to meet meet her August, Married her in September. Together now 6 years , 1 child. Most suitable lady for me I have ever met, good mother, financially sensible and a good brain (probably married below her in that regard). Only woman I have met that I know will stay with me and take care of me in old age.

I'm not sure what you think this brings to the conversation.  Obviously they're going to use a model on promotional material.  If you believe the model on the ad banner or sign up page is the girl you're going to get on the website, you shouldn't be using them at all, possibly you shouldn't be using the internet.

It is not difficult in the slightest to find a woman in Thailand. In my opinion, there are no such things as the best dating website or the best town or the best bar or how educated they might be.

 

But, the best woman for anyone in particular could be just around the next corner tomorrow, or it might take eight years as it did in my case!

Thaifriendly does not let you communicate with any girl/woman unless you pay for a subscription.
Thaifriendly mark almost every girl as "Important" and blocks the communication if you are not a paying member.
Best of all, I have girls/woman on my list who didn't Login since 5 years and they are still marked as "Important".
Far better sites on the internet without the stupid "Important".
