His album ' Bat Out of Hell ' is still one of the best, and quite a big selling one at that.

Had some fun songs way back when....

Bat Out of Hell is a classic

He should have given up singing a long time ago.

His performance at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne in 2011 was so bad it attained legendary status.

Sad news i saw him once a great performer

Part of my youth gone , The Paradise by the  dashboard light has gone like a Bat out of Hell

Some now reporting death was from covid.  Indeed a unique singer.

A brilliant song, thanks

Memories of Meatloaf.

Big dude.

Rocker.

Rocky Horror.

A personality you couldn't ignore.

I shook his hand at a fan line at a midnight Rocky Horror screening.

Always entertaining, I'll won't forget his meltdown on Gary Busey, he will be missed.

His most telling role was as Dennis the bus driver in the Spice Girls movie.

Telling because it showed he was down to earth, game for a laugh and didn't take himself seriously.

Remember the big man well. Was working at Reading Fedtival in the UK late 70's early 80's. He was back stage and wanted to go  upfront to see the crowd up close and who ever was playing on stage at  the time. The main access was through a narrow corridor underneath the middle of the 2 stages. Unfortunately he couldn't  fit, so had to take him via the equipment access door on the side of stage 2. All the punters at the front couldn't believe their eyes. Really nice gent. RIP Michael,  Eddie (Rocky Horror Picture Show), The Lizard (51st State).

Great singer and a great man.

Went overboard to connect with his fans.

One of the all time greats.

Saw him at Hamersmith Odeon.

Great stuff.

RIP big man. Grew up listening to him. A great man and singer
