  • Should have grabbed the camera and stomped it to pieces too.  Filming the staff and patrons in a red light district? What a moron.

What is wrong with Teva sandals they are my favorite (i like them, they walk better then flip flops)

Didn't say they were bad...Just hard to play the part of a loud mouth tough guy wearing them. The only thing he was missing was some white socks...????

Tevas are massively over rated, maybe production moved abroad or something but i found Decathlon sandals much better and cheaper

The most ironic thing is by doing what he did, he drew way more attention on himself than he would have if he just let him film.

Exactly that. No one would have noticed him in the back of the bar, hardly recognizable.

The vlogger is "not my type"/intrusive/annoying but this fool with the glasses is much worse. Throwing vulgar insults from the very first second and attacking physically.

A place to avoid.

Adidas Bethlehems are still my favourite.

I think it depends on the model to be honest. I also had a bad pair that just did not feel right. I might try decathlon sandals next time. Thanks for the heads up.

The guy who attacked the vlogger is the bar owner, advises another vlogger. Some prior, unfilmed interaction between the 2 led to the filmed fisticuffs.

Whatever!   A bar owner has the right to decide what happens inside his bar, but not outside.  An open fronted bar is obviously not a suitable premises to provide anonymity.  He broke the law.  Fortunately, it was just a skirmish and is being rightfully ignored.  It's probably not a good idea to start a fight if someone is clearly fitter and stronger than you!  Best not to start a fight at all actually, though we are human and these things happen sometimes. Vloggers can be really annoying and it's tempting to have a go if we're in a bad mood.

I'm sure people will be rushing to his bar to have a beer with him now.  ????

Don't go public in Pattaya if you shy the (red) light.

It's a pest of our times and how would you try to control.

This guy walked openly with his cam on a stick.

The real "clever" ones have hidden cams that you will never detect.

There was a guy in Bangkok who secretly filmed his bar girl interviews.

Even worse- surely!  People who do that get what they deserve.

I love this description! Obviously fueled by the substance or having got his testosterone shot.

Hmm. To me the video looks like an uncut walk through Soi Chaiyaphoon.

The vlogger walks in the middle of the road and turns the camera/looks towards that bar and immediately the rottweiler starts barking?

If there is unfilmed it must have been long before/on another day?

The worst part of this story?  YouTube algorithms will pop other utter s*** vids like this into my results for weeks.

The Vlogger in question, Vlogging A Dead Horse, only has 1500 subscribers. Hardly an 'influencer'.

His right hand did influence the abusive guy out of the bar to sit down though. ????

Thanks, seen him before and one of the scum vloggers. Should have been kicked out long time ago!

Should have strolled to the end of the Soi with 1,000bt note and had the motorcycle taxis teach this moron some night life ettiquete

Who should have done that?

Because if the bar owner or an "influential" bar girl would have done that then the vlogger could have been badly hurt.

If the vlogger would have given 1000B to the motorcycle guys and then tell them what they should do then I would love to see the video of what followed next.

I am pretty sure the motorcycle drivers will think twice who they beat up - even if they get paid for that.

Well , Prayut and co's plan to attract a better kind of high rolling tourist doesn't seem to have been implemented yet.

Until someone suspects you of doing something wrong.

Many years ago a friend showed me his brand new phone in a bar. Something like a Nokia maybe 15 years ago. Someone saw this and a few minutes later we were outside the bar and some heavies demanded to see what's on the phone. There was nothing on the phone because he didn't take any pictures. But I don't want to know what would have happened if he would have done that.

Be very very careful! Or better: DON'T DO IT!

What a fat drunken slob that "bar owner" is . He was acting the tough guy trying to impress somebody but got found out. From what i saw the camera was only pointed at him when he became aggressive.

Looks like this London vlogger just escaped prison and decided to have some fun in Thailand.  Lesson learned I hope, you don't mess with the bar owners in Pattaya.

Different if you were inside a bar and he came in and started filming without your permission.

I recall there was such an incident in a Pothole Bar where customers were being recorded, (by the manager or owner to be used as promotional) ... and some were unhappy about it.

It is a pity the original link to the video has been removed as it is hard to evaluate based on the binary type responses one gets to this type of event. The OP does make it sound like an assault.

Ah, found he video, some history there, and the Vlogger is somewhat 'irritating'.....

Judging by the result- I think you ought really to conclude that bar owners shouldn't mess with vloggers in Pattaya.????

And hopefully the most important lesson is don't assume you own the whole street!

Looked like they might know each other from before, or at least the bar owner in knew him!

Life's too short... get him in the bar, make up and good publicity.

Shouting and squaring up in the street... not so good publicity.

Anyone has a right to film on a public street.  I was doing some street photography in Pattaya and some drunk said he was going to kill me.  I hadn’t even taken his photo, but was very tempted to.  I flipped him the bird and continued.

To be fair to the chap who got confrontational with the immature vlogging moron ....

1) The Vlogger actually walked INSIDE repeat INSIDE and up and down the whole length of one bar nearby that had a live band. He went close up to the band .. within a few feet and panned round the whole bar .. customers and some girls looking aghast.  He did order a beer as he entered but him sitting and drinking it was cut out or he was not served.

2) The vlogger then walked up Soi Pothole. Many many girls were getting annoyed he was pointing the camera in their faces and rear ends. They were the bait girls outside the bars. He also pointed the camera into the bars.

3). As he passed the guy who he later had a ruck with .. the bar owner asked him to not film his bar and customers.

4) The vlogger shouted obscenities at him.  Then continued up the Soi pissing off more people.

5) He turned round and was immaturely saying he was going back to <deleted> off the guy again and went out his way to point it at the bar owner and the bar.. The vlogger was looking for trouble and got it.

6) Unbeluevably after the 'fight' .. just pushing and shoving .. its hard to tell from the camera moving vigorously .. the vlogger was childishly giggling like a moron as he walked away that he was really happy he got a good video to post. He had not a clue filming INSIDE of red light bars was a problem.  No empathy or wisdom.

7) Other farang and Thai girls were shouting at the vlogger idiot as he walked up and back in the Soi.  He managed to <deleted> dozens if not hundreds of people in 10 minutes.  Walking into any bar with a camera is just bad manners  ... let alone naughty bars full of skimpily dressed girls.  The bar owner was maybe protective of girls and customers throughout the street that the Vlogger was filming and pissing them off.

???? I repeat .. he was walking into bars and filming. I saw the entire video but I read its been deleted now. But many on here are saying he was in the right.

Durrrrrrrrrrr

So the video has been deleted ?  I am surprised he did that , I think it was his most popular video.

I had to check, nope it's still there, 15000 views now, If I was filmed in a bar like that  I would have reported it to Youtube.

Many YouTubers film people in bars as they pass, hard to avoid, i doubt wives and girlfriends are trawling the videos looking for their partner

But even Google maps now blurs out faces, those sitting in-front of MPs likely appreciate that. People inside these bars certainly  do not want filming.....if just one lady happens to watch one of these videos and spots her friend's hubby fraternizing......
