Yea the Russian army made the accusations with no evidence and here we go yet again, back to the UN Security council Russia goes...................updates from AFP news agency tweets

#BREAKING The Russian army on Saturday accused the UK of being "involved" in explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, saying the same British military specialists had helped Ukraine plan a drone attack on Moscow's Black Sea Fleet.

#UPDATE Russia said on Saturday that it would raise the Nord Stream pipeline blasts and an alleged drone attack in Crimea, both incidents in which Moscow has alleged British involvement, at the UN Security Council.

#UPDATE Russia said on Saturday it was suspending its participation in the agreement that allowed grain exports from Ukraine, blaming alleged drone attacks on Russian ships in Crimea.

Joe Blogs' take on the war not about the economy this time but recent events.

Particularly interesting is Putin's latest Q&A propaganda where he states that:

Russia was achieving its goals in the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, and

The West is denying the sovereignty of countries and nations, their distinctiveness and uniqueness and disregarding the interests of other states.

The UN secretary general has issued a strongly worded rebuke to Russia for “totally unacceptable” nuclear threats and denounced its plans to annex parts of Ukraine as a “violation of the UN charter and of international law”.

Ooh, Putin must be quaking in his boots at that "strongly worded rebuke" NOT.

No, they didn't realize that. But only for the negligible reason that Russian warships don't accompany Ukrainian vessels carrying grain:

"Under the agreement, Ukrainian naval vessels will escort the ships carrying the grain. Russia will not attack the warships, or any port infrastructure. Turkey and the UN will inspect the cargo ships to make sure they are not being used as a front to smuggle anything else, such as weapons."

Nevertheless, the end result is that the grain shipments are disrupted. The countries that have been receiving the grain, be it poor nations in Africa or European nations will now be paying more for the grain. So sad.

defending against occupiers on Ukrainian territory cannot be seen as an escalation.

Never mind that.  As Placeholder showed above Gweiloman's post is pure BS driven by Putin's propaganda.

Have you been following the war at all? Russia is doing all of the escalating, for instance by raining dozens of kamikaze drones on Ukrainian civil targets every day. Ukraine is just defending itself and their territory, which is a legitimate reason to attack any invading army. Maybe you should think some more on who’s being stupid here.

End result, more bombing in Kyiv, leaving more parts without power or electricity. Not a winning strategy for Ukraine but maybe for another country.

This isn't physics or chemistry. The result of Ukraine's attack on Russian ships isn't preordained. If it turns out that the end result is no more shipments of grain from Ukraine, the fault is Russia's.
