I have not been whit 500 woman but (or dont know, stop counting after hair start grow in down low) have had "few". Still have make mistake whit asian woman(Filipina) and was looser because not make prenup whit her! Whit my Thai woman im not pay much, she manage her self almost everything and government pay our other house in town. I help in other way , help family in farm drive stuff to sell etc. I know ofcourse she dont mind if i give her more money lol. But if you start give much you cant come back to give less!

Mutual respect, similar socio-economic status... just regular decent couples....   I don’t know why some guys struggle and end up in disastrous situations.

I've only encountered one couple like that.

It takes 2 to tango. People often end up in disastrous relationships because of where they look for partners, and what kind of people they are likely to find at such places.

 

I don't think you can expect a smooth ride when finding your partner at a night club, or a bar. Now of course, there could be exceptions everywhere, but in many cases things do go wrong. Add to that different upbringing and values, different culture, different interests, and in this forum also a large age gap, and this wouldn't even go smoothly at members' original countries.

 

Without much of a social safety net, for many, the family is the safety net. Add to that protecting the face, and it's not so far fetched to imagine someone being "forced" to show success by channeling wealth to family, to show off to the neighbours. Of course, then comes parents' greed, especially in some very remote areas, who see their children as nothing more than their slaves to be forever grateful to their parents for nothing more than giving them birth. As what some of these parents did after the birth couldn't even be a remotely plausible description of upbringing. That is, before some of them even got sold off to gangs, or just expected their monthly income from their daughters to buy stuff... to show off...

 

I used to work in media and had a chance to join interviews of both the underprivileged girls that some members here enjoy renting, as well as their ignorant parents, and many stories were heartbreaking on one side, and making me want to strangle someone on the other side.

 

The sad thing is that when left to "the street" to educate children, nearly never anything good comes out of it. So having an expectation of things working out from a visitor's point of view is very naive.

 

But as said, there are always exceptions. Just far too few.

 

Go meet girls in a park. Cinema. Gallery. Travel fair. In a restaurant or convenience store. In gym. At an animal shelter. Book store. You know, places where you might find people who are interested in "normal" things, maybe same things as you are, and you'll have a far better chance of success and avoiding problems later.

I only go with ladies who have Thai husbands.
