As a Brit (no sex please), I was fairly innocent when I arrived in Thailand.

My innocence didn't last long though, I had more sex in my first 3 months here than I did in the previous 52 years in the UK.

Hang on, that sounds a deal. Comes out at about 550Baht a day. Take advantage 3 or 4 times a day and you are quids in.

The definition of Long Time still holds true, the time between when you shoot your load and they leave

I don't agree. Not ridicule, at all. They are simply playing their part in an act, and giving us what they think we want. Most have been coached. It is our lack of understanding of the game that is the issue, and we only have our own lack of research, or extreme emotional vulnerability to blame for that. If she is a nice gal, and you treat her with kindness and respect, and show her a good time, it is all good. 

 

Great times can be had by those of us who know what we are doing, treat it as a fun, lighthearted encounter, and behave as Bond would do. Getting attached to a short time gal is just not paying tribute to our gender, and fairly sad. Keep it light. Man up! Have some fun.

Confirms what I've always thought: most guys here can't afford a proper Thai lady. I can understand the underlying as they came here believing things would be easier then back home, only to discover that here life is.. just life.

So for a proper lady how many millions are you willing to give them to stay with you, my answer in my post showed how I felt about that.  Absolutely Zero, I paid no SinSod when I married my now Thai Ex-wife, lasted 10 years and fathered 1 child, who I adore and take care of and she is in the US now.  I do not play the BS games that many do and is what your comment went on about.  Everyone has made a mistake or so in their lives, but playing Captain Save a HO or a Bail me out of Issan Knight is not the norm with the friends I have here in the country.  A relationship goes both ways and is a 50/50 exchange of work between the parties, not 100/0, 75/25.  Compatibility does not always occur.
