PHOTO: Nakhonjunction

 

An intoxicated American tourist in Nakhon Si Thammarat was reportedly drinking Thai whisky (Lao Kao) continuously for at least two days before causing a public nuisance.

 

The Khanom Police was notified of the incident yesterday afternoon (October 5th) at Baan Pa Lane in the Khanom district. They arrived at the scene to find the foreign man who was yelling incoherently in front of a local grocery. A car nearby was damaged as well and after an extended period of time and with the assistance of crowd control tools as seen in the photo above the man was finally caught and arrested by about a dozen police officers.

 

The Khanom Police told the Phuket Express that the man was identified only as Mr. Andigo, 45, an American national. He entered Thailand recently on a one month tourist visa.

He was spending money like they wanted, just was not quality purchases, Lao Kao is nasty and cheap, so he was a cheap drunk charlie.

For sober people it's hard to understand the enjoyment of getting so sloppy drunk you even get a news article written about your idiocy.

Quite impressive drinking Lao Khao for 2 days. All I can do is hit the rack.

What a great photo op! The Thai police with all their farang catcher gear on hand, how lucky is that. Meanwhile the local drunk in the neighborhood next to my condo gets to run amuck every  month with no police in sight.

Drinking that horrible soda for 2 days, it´s a wonder he´s not dead.

 

How embarrassing and pathetic is this photo of 8 Thai cops trying to subdue 1 drunk moran using what looks like recycled pool cleaning equipment. No wonder cops here are a laughing stock with pictures like these. 

He is simply at the wrong location. In Pattaya he would fit in perfectly... ☺️☺️☺️

I watched a foreigner roaring drunk staggering down a road near Khao San in the middle of the day a couple years ago.   So naturally, he wanders into the same restaurant I'm sitting in demanding a hamburger from the waitress.   Rather than refuse service, she quietly but firmly explains how he has to pay up front because he's drunk.   Now he's offended.  A loud argument ensues, he finally agrees to pay, sits down, scarfs his food when it comes and gently walks away a different man.  

 

He must have been hangry.   Bad combo alcohol and empty stomach apparently.

got very sick on Whisky as a kid.  first and last time.  glad i did.

Took him two days of drinking to cause a public nuisance? Light weight. Takes my fellow countrymen the British only a few hours.

All that's needed to complete that photo is a sheepdog.
