Rotterdam Stabbing Rampage Knifeman shouted "Allahu Akbar"
I've worked in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, I've got many Muslim/Islamic colleagues. These guys reckon we are fools allowing Muslims to integrate into western society. They know that these barbaric people can't adjust, they will never assimilate into civilized culture. -

Who on earth uses pagers?
I've been saying for a while that the response is as likely to occur anywhere in the world as in Israel. Other than increased rocket and drone attacks, israelis are most vulnerable outside israel. -

Trump and Vance continue to lie about and demonise Haitians in Springfield
Ohio Republican Governor Condemns Trump, Vance in NYT Op-Ed Updated Sep 20, 2024 at 11:24 AM EDT In his op-ed for the Times titled, "I'm the Governor of Ohio. I Don't Recognize the Springfield That Trump and Vance Describe," DeWine wrote, "Springfield has a rich history of providing refuge for the oppressed and being a place of opportunity. As a stop on the Underground Railroad, the Gammon House, which still stands, was a safe haven for escaped slaves seeking freedom. It is disappointing to me that Springfield has become the epicenter of vitriol over America's immigration policy, because it has long been a community of great diversity." The governor added: "As a supporter of former President Donald Trump and Senator JD Vance, I am saddened by how they and others continue to repeat claims that lack evidence and disparage the legal migrants living in Springfield. This rhetoric hurts the city and its people, and it hurts those who have spent their lives there." https://www.newsweek.com/ohio-governor-mike-dewine-condemns-donald-trump-jd-vance-springfield-1956824 -

Australian Aged Pension
I didn't return to Australia for 2 years prior as I had commitments in Thailand. I'm now 80 years old, worked for the Department of Defense all my working life. I also did military service, I have an Australian Service medal and I still don't qualify. Need I say my thoughts about Australia, a once great country of which we were lucky to spend our childhoods in. -

Best one month rental central Pattaya.
Hi, I have a friend coming to Thailand in January for one month. I stay in Jomtien but he prefers being closer to the malls and good choice of restaurants. Previously , he’s often vacationed in Phuket over the years but fed up of the endless rain , crowds , and’ certain nationalities. He needs a nice quality studio and good sunny pool , security, and not in a high rise .up to 12 floors ok. not interested in ladies or men. I visited City Garden when it was built. Considered renting but preferred Jomtien around soi 9. I remember that the pool looked very small ?? Any ideas welcome, Central Festival and Term 21 in easy reach. Good pool as he swims a lot, quality Studio , English TV channels / Netflix , Security, not bothered by great view from studio. Around 40 000, Baht month which is what he was paying in Phuket., Thanks +++ -

School Bus Overturns in Sisaket, 20 Students Injured
i wonder, was there really an other vehicle ... it seems like clear sight for at least 100 m, no need to react sharply with a bus on this narrow street. no wheel tracks in the tall grass either ...
