I have looked into completing the new arrival-form, but it does not currently allow me to give my country-of-residence as being in Thailand, how should I complete the entry-form in this case ?  Of course I don't want to give an incorrect address/country-of-residence, to you.

Do what Ralf001 suggests and tell lies, say you live in Tibet or Montenegro, anywhere but Thailand.

Seeing that you have a re-entry permit, you have a temporary permission to stay in Thailand and therefore Thailand is, for immigration purposes, not your country of residence.

In your case you should give the name of the country that issued your passport as your country of residence.

Even if you have broken all ties with your nationality country and have resided here for over 20 years, with a Thai ID card, yellow house book etc.

I did read in another thread that the developers of the App will be adding Thailand before the App goes live. We'll see!

Questions, questions...

One way flight, country of residence...

I bet that there will be a veritable chaos at immigration on May 1st and following.

Be aware that the TDAC is already worked in at TIMATIC (the airlines information system).

So be prepared to show it at check-in (maybe).

Not correct.  Only if you enter a date and add a mode of travel do the asterisks appear.  Leave it blank and you can pass on by.

But the bit about country of residence comes before this flight data.

I was answering the question about departure details, not related to residence.

How are you accessing this forum ?

How did you intend to book your airtickets ?

I go to a travel agent, or go to the company office or go the departure point like the bus station, and book, they print the ticket for me. I am do not access the form, I don't use internet, too expensive, and other issues.

I will say it again, Thailand is not our place of residence, i.e. unless we are the holders of a Permanent Resident Visa or have Thailand Citizenship and the holder of a Thai Passport, which would be few and far between.

Why are PR holders exempt from filling in a TDAC, they are not citizens.

Your country of residence when travelling is ALWAYS your country of birth.

I tried filling in the form, putting UK as my Nationality and Passport, but Spain as my country of Residence. It worked.

Is it my the Permisdion to say number or the reentry permit number. On the old TM6 form it was the reentry permit number. Years ago when first moved here I put the permis ion to say (non o) renew number and io told me it needs to be the rentry permit number. But on TDAC it called visa number?

So what happens if I don't have internet access, nor a modern phone? Does that mean I can't come to Thailand?

No.

It means that you did not read or cannot understand the following earlier post in this topic:

The last paragraph of that post applies to the situation you have described.
