Search on Google like this:

site:forum.thaivisa.com  "search words"

This will always work better than any forum own search function. I wonder why forums bother having their own search function, easier just to use Google - we are all it's slave anyway ... ! ????????

Best TV series I have ever watched was Breaking Bad

Expect many or us can agree on that - Ozark is also very good and still ongoing.

Yes, but it is very well known to everyone.

This thread is used to recommend shows that many people would never hear about otherwise.

For those who like something other than the usual.

Worlds Toughest Race : Eco Challenge-Fiji

Despite Bear Grills doing his usual introduction from the skid of a helicopter, and the American style inclusion of an assortment of teams with various heart rending back stories, this is a genuine race, involving 60 teams of 4, over a tortuous 400 mile course for 11 days.

Most of the special interest groups pushing their particular barrow should drop out early leaving the hard core athletes to fight out the challenge.

Amazon, all episodes available. (Should fill the gap left after the finish of the latest "Alone" series)

I tried first episode of P-Valley but couldn't finish it, I would need subtitle for it because these guys speak a different language than I understand, need to think for second to fully get every sentence...! And the booty wasn't that spectacular....????

Started watching Spartacus, terrible acting and cartoonish computer graphics, but those Romans really didn't wear much clothes, and all those orgies makes it a bit entertaining .... ! ????????

Forget this Spartacus, I'm more than half way through season 1 and it is really just soft porn with very coarse language, maybe not to everyone's taste, watch at your own peril..., I'm too deep to stop...! lol ????

Des, which was on ITV last week, is very good. It's a three part series about serial killer Dennis Nilsen. Some excellent acting performances from David Tennant, Daniel Mays and Jason Watkins.

Yes. Very well produced. Context was improved by viewing the Dennis Neilson documentary on the same channel and voiced by David Tennant.

Only has a 5.3 imdb score. Too low for me to even check it out.

Devastated for you, but life goes on!

There is so much out there, you have to set some kind of a filter and the imdb scores are usually a good indicator.

My own standard for downloading s01e01 is a minimum imdb score of 7.0.

A 5.3 imdb rating is about the lowest I've seen for a recommendation on here.

Travels With My Father with Jack and Michael Whiteall is back for a fourth series on Netflix, this time in Australia. I really enjoyed the first series, set mainly in Thailand, as did my family. The second series in Europe was OK but the last two have far too many contrived situations and are very obviously scripted in several scenes.

Still amusing and worth a watch but it's reached it's sell-by date.

"Long Way Up"

Following on from "Long Way Around" and "Long Way Down"

The older, and less fit these days, duo of Ewen McGregor and Charlie Boorman are on their bikes again travelling from Ushuaia to L.A.

They are on prototype Harley Davidson electric bikes, and in the couple of episodes I've watched are having huge problems with range and recharging of these machines.

May be of interest for some.

Is it true that they are using diesel generators to charge their electric HD's? 555
