  • The alcoholics won't be happy with this one, there will be big problems from this.   Making people stay at home is one thing, preventing them from having a little drink while sitting in thei

  • I reckon that they should cut the internet too.

  • They just love these knee jerk reactions, dont they?

I wonder if this alcohol ban also includes hand sanitiser, not that there's any available anyway?

Will a hand-sanitiser pump fit on a bottle of Hong Thong?

They sell fuel in whisky bottles, why not "hand sanitser"?

With the stay at home notice, curfews and now an alcohol ban, Thailand will have the least amount of road deaths per captia in the world !!

You wouldn't have bet on that at the start of the year ????

Few beers in the evening nothing wrong with that is more likely to keep people home and relax

Not a drinker myself but I do not begrudge anyone else having a quiet tipple. The more hard-core however are going to find this period to be rather tough, especially if this ban is extended in either duration or to other provinces.

Total over reaction, limit the times one can purchase but this type of over reaction will cause people to make their own and we know where this leads, no one has said that alcohol should be restricted as it does not enhance CV.

Just what does this achieve?

Do as I say?

Just another "governor" wanting his 2 mins of publicity...

No-one will pay any attention and alcohol will still be available in every town and village throughout the province..

People worried about the internet being shut down, don't stress... How would these clowns get their air time without Facebook and Line !!!

Looks like a s**t load of alcohol will be sold by mom and pop shops at sunrise tomorrow.. A veritable stampede with Lao Khao becoming as rare as hens eggs.

Within a week the place will be over run by Somchai Kapones and there will be stills in all the eucalyptus plantations. Bootleg booze smuggled in on every dirt track.

And of course a number of small grouped deaths, solely from bad bootleg booze, made by fools or scumbags, being sold to the desperate..

The reflection that my stepson has just given me;
he tells me i will go tonight ..
and I replied: yes, because in the evening all cats are gray;
and above all , there are no more police on the streets.

and all this will in no way prevent the continued sale of bottles of M150, washed then filled with lao khao and sold 10 baht in all the good shops ....:crazy:

In a finite world everything that seems infinite quickly runs out.
The Internet as we know it is likely to go out very quickly if nothing is done to transform it so that it does not consume too much energy

Fare play to you , 1 bottle last me.... what's the time now..

I would like to think you are joking ????

All jokes aside, my late brother used to have a bottle of whiskey in the morning and whatever was available or he could get his hands by the evening, i.e. another bottle of the whatever helped send him to his grave at 49, a really sad disease, way to go and painful for loved ones to see.

Everything in moderation ✌️

Absolutely brilliant assessment :clap2:

Better ban everything! This is taking a <deleted> already. Things they ban have nothing to do with corona virus. They just ban for the sake of banning. Like in Makro, you can't buy many items now, why? It becomes idiotic in my opinion.

You remember the Costa Concordia, few years back ??

General P will be in the 1st and only life boat launched... The real Captain is on a different boat already, if you know what I mean !!

but... dabbing a surface down instead with plentiful Mekhong;

must surely bring the gubberment a higher Tax grab?
