He's a reality TV star.....no connection with politics,political science or philosophy whatsoever.

Not treason, which is defined in the Constitution (uniquely) as giving aid to the enemy in time of war.  (The Framers took pains to put that definition right into the Constitution since they themselves had only recently betrayed their oaths to the British Crown.  

 

There are plenty of crimes for which Trump can be indicted, if the Biden administration has the will to do so.  There are lots of reasons for Biden to take that posture, but recently there are more reasons not to give Trump a pass for his attacks on American democracy.

I'd say a vast majority of these people were hard core republicans that would never vote for a dem, no matter what.  I use to be like that.  Until I started using my brain rather than listening to them lie.

Yes, the former member of Georgia legislature and gubernatorial candidate did good job, but she is first to say she had a team of very talented people. In interview she mentions this many times. Also, the strategy of outreach was important. Big rallies are not what does it.

 

The people who should be thanked are Georgia Afro Americans. They went out to vote and their votes mattered. It can be said that the Afro American saved America.

 

I do not share the belief of people who think this is ground breaking. The fact remains that millions voted for some very questionable Republicans and used hate messages to push their case. Warnock was subject to the anti Afro American comments, and Osoff was criticized because he is jew.

You mean there was a time when it wasn't considered really important which party had the majority in either of the legislative houses? Is there some representative democracy out there in which a party's or a coalition's majority in a legislature isn't considered extremely important?

Stacy Abrams is the Tasmanian Devil of Georgia politics.  Glad to see it, I was a teenager when I heard about Lester Maddox and his axe-handle brigade.  I suspect both Kemp and Raffensperger are afraid she may have found some nastiness on them and that's why the expressions on their faces always look like the need to get to the mens' room ASAP.

There is no question about the primary importance of black Americans in this historic (and totally necessary) political repudiation of the dangerous anti-democracy pro authoritarian movement led by Mr. trump. First it was during the South Carolina primary when Rep. Clybourne led an army of more moderate black people, mostly women, to dramatically turn the democratic primary election towards President Joe Biden. Then of course there was Georgia. Deep South, deep red Georgia, the most dramatically unexpected flip state in the presidential election, and then the almost miraculous taking of TWO senate seats for the democrats this week.
