Scammers are sending sex toys to unsuspecting Thai women and no one knows why

Daily News reported that gangs sending women sex toys through the post "cash on delivery" were rampant.

A woman in Sa Kaeo in the east of the country became the second case in two days.

Hundreds of others are thought to have got sex toys but been too shy to report it.

Sarinda, 33, a photocopy shop owner was not embarrassed.

She went straight to Pol Lt Rawiphat Ma-iam after she got back from an upcountry trip.

While she was away a package arrived for her at her house and her mum who thought she had ordered it paid the 199 baht to accept it.

After all there was a name and address on the package.

But screams followed as the contents - a purple dildo - were revealed.

The case followed one in which a teacher got a similar surprise at her school and went all weak at the knees.

Sarinda said this was unlikely to be an isolated case. People should report it despite the embarrassment, she said.

Criminals and people hacking personal data were behind it and it was time police got to the bottom of it.

She advised family members to ask if goods had been ordered by calling them just to make sure.

Anyone who can read the bold bits should be able to figure out why.

Women along and during a drunken evening while looking through their Facebook on-line shopping sites, while feeling a little randy, they see what they want, and because their inhibitions are lowered they order the item that had they been sober they never would have, enough said.  Easy to forget what they did when they were drunk. The when someone else sees it and it is not done in private when they open the package they get embarrassed.

Wonder if screams were for length, girth or colour  ?

there is nothing else for me to do in Hua Hin.

Something similar happened in UK in the early 1970s. A parcel of books was delivered to my address followed by a demand for an exaggerated payment and a threat of legal action to recover it. Police refused to believe me until a newspaper reported that dozens of people had fallen victim to the attempted extortion. I ignored the demands and handed the package back to Royal Mail. About a year later a law was passed to prohibit the practice.

Do you have a pretty good mailing list?

I bet it's a chinese seller on Lazada or shopee...creating fake account, sending his product, then writing a 5/5 star review about his product.
Some chinese sellers did it on Amazon USA in 2018.

Absolutely, my missus has recently become pro-active after reading about these scandalous deliveries.
Every morning she now sits at the gate and jumps out at every delivery guy going by to see if she's got one!

It does not say much about your ability to satisfy your missus, if she is keen to get hold of 1 of them, ha,ha.
