50+ years back my dad brought me toast and Marmite ......... I said "dad, this Marmite tastes a bit funny?"

Yep, he'd grabbed the Bovril jar instead of the Marmite jar ........ I still ate it, just tasted a little different.

In the absence of Bovril I have eaten Marmite but don’t really care for it, same with Vegemite, find them both too salty.

Ironically my gf likes Vegemite but turns her nose up at Bovril.

Cherry coke doesn't sound healthy.

Correct.  Just a recent habit I picked up. Since Cheery coke became available here.

And not to forget:

Dark bread with peanut butter.

One of my fondest memories was the aroma in my Grandmother's kitchen....They had owned the only french bakery....

In the morning she'd have toasted sourdough slathered with peanut butter + french roast coffee in a traditional wide cup she dipped the peanut butter/sourdough in...

The fusion of those aromas porcolating in that kitchen was devine....

Looks yummy.

Where do they sell this one?

They used to sell it in Foodland, and maybe they still do that in some Foodland branches.

I often eat it at a hotel breakfast buffet.

How about optionally a little whipped cream or Nutella on the honey? ????

If it was Peggy yes.

I had something like this in mind. But obviously with a petite brown "honey".

Fresh ground coffee.

When riding or driving for the day I don't eat much - makes me sleepy. Just pick at food during the trip, so BBQ skewers and sticky rice work well in the car. Gotta stop on the bike tho' !

Away from home some fruit maybe from the buffet, little rice soup.

At home, decide daily. Hmmm - what's for Brekky ?

Full English maybe once a month.

Usually fresh fruit...mango, papaya, pineapple, dragon fruit and banana. Occasionally multigrain toast & jam.

Always fresh brewed coffee. :coffee1:

My breakfast is simple. After w/o & shower, bowl of cornflakes, some fruit (varies daily) and a mug of (Earl Grey when I can get it) tea.

I start my day at 7:00 am. Feed the dogs & take them outside, then make my breakfast. I have wheat toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, fried potatoes and a glass of apple juice.  Or I go out and have a "English Style Breakfast".
