First, the US donated 1 million doses of Pfizer never got to Thailand due to paperwork (they say) ...

Now, the Poland donated 1.5 million doses of Moderna is not coming.

 

Outside of Bangkok, the vaccination rate is under 50% and many provinces have asked for vaccines and are not getting them.  Why???  Who knows, but this is shameful and should be reported by news outside of Thailand.

It isn't red tape here, but a very solid red brick wall!

The answer to all of this incompetence and corruption is in the hands of the Thai people.

If there is one thing this pandemic has revealed is the total self centered "only if I benefit" approach this government has, previously they could hide behind other distractions, but now its clear for the whole world to see.

Again?  wasn't this the problem with the 2nd donation of Pfizer from the U.S.?  Government said they never got the request when the story broke out all of a sudden Oh? there it is?  Busted!

 

This goes on day after day, hundred if not thousand of entitled leaders falling all over themselves doing nothing and the results are evident as hell!  As people indicates the left  has no idea what the right is doing the country is so broken that every province and every district fall under one flag but go through the day doing whatever it wants and under their own rules no real plan no real goal although it is like this throughout the world one would expect more from a country who unofficial logo is the Land of Smiles.

 

I'm sure if we go back a few months and none of the leaders had gotten any of their vaccine particular the donation of Pfizer which these same leaders were the first in line for the booster the Moderna would already be here in Thailand. ????

 

 

The explanation for this is quite simple:  Moderna is barred by the US Corrupt Foreign Practices Act from offering the grease needed to smooth the way.

Why does Thailand need any donations????

 

They clearly have money to spend on submarines, weapons, huge railway-projects and other useless stuff.

 

At the same time they expect stuff for free from Farang countries, who they further exploit if their citizens decide to live or invest in their country. They don’t even care about their own population.

 

Don’t give them anything!! Let them learn to spend their own money wisely instead.

The problem is that I believe that is exactly what will happen except the contract will be for less than 1.5m so that;

a) it does not seem to be the same contract!! and

b) he can sell the remainder privately.
