Popular Post webfact Posted February 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2022 Naew Na Thai Caption: We can cope if things take a turn for the worse Anutin Charvirakul told the Thai press yesterday that he is in complete control - even if things get worse when it comes to Covid. Thailand's heath minister and DPM told Naew Na after a cabinet meeting that there were enough beds, enough meds and enough medical gear to cope. Even if the latest spike in Covid cases becomes an emergency. Asmptomatic cases were isolating at home and any RT-PCR testing problems were being sorted, said the minister. Everything would be done in line with helping the economy to recover. Asked about reports that people were unable to access hospital treatment at the weekend, Anutin dismissed this as a mere glitch. Very few people couldn't get treated, he claimed, adding that 30,000 people were in hospital with Covid. He promised to follow up on the complaints to make sure that everyone was getting the best from his health services. Lies, there are 71,414 in real hospitals getting treatment with another 882 in ICU and a further 229 on ventilators. Thats not even counting the 102,191 in Field hospitals, Community care centers, hospitels or home isolation. I also notice a post by @anchadian in another thread this morning: Relief foundation pleads with government to open more Covid facilities A relief foundation is urging the government to open more community isolation (CI) facilities as beds for mild and moderate Covid cases are filling up in Bangkok as the Omicron outbreak sweeps. https://www.thaienquirer.com/37756/relief-foundation-pleads-with-government-to-open-more-covid-facilities/ 20 3

The Hero-General-Czar had this whole virus thing locked up single-handedly over two years ago. I certainly hope Anutin isn't trying to upstage the Supreme Leader and steal his valiant plague fighting glory. That would never do. Popular Post Enzian Posted February 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2022 How much more of this guy can we take? Does Aseannow just make up these things almost daily to torture us? I'd leave the country like I did in July when the line was rising but I'm not sure where to go. Maybe just stay here and become a hermit in the countryside. 4 2

There's not enough hospital beds for other ailments like car crashes, heart attacks, etc. Private hospitals keep a few for their VIP gueasts. Those who hold Gold or Diamond cards that cost 40,000-50,000 in annual fees. Bankok Hospital Group is just one of them. Despite all the "talk" of great hospitals in Thailand theres just a few quality ones in each province. Many are just huge cement Soviet style gulags with a few nurses in training and a doctor that visits occasionally. A relative has to bring you food and clean you up. 18 2 1

Why don't get in your car and do some traveling around Thailand. Hotels and resorts are dirt cheap. If you're single there's plenty of beautiful and friendly girls everywhere. Popular Post finnsk Posted February 23, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2022 My wifes adult son and his 3 kids and some other familymembers get discovered that they have covid 3 days ago, when they did an official atk test. The officials told them they must go to hospital, but there was no space at the hospitals in Bangkok for them and there is still not. Another discussion is why they want people to hospital, if they only have a mild omikron ? But the situation do not seems to be under control, nobody knows the real numbers incl the dark numbers. They are flip flopping around the Omikron, what shall the official politic bee to the omikron ? shall infected people home isolate or shall infected people go to overpriced hospiprisons ? 13
