They certainly won't come for the 0.2% s..t! That's for sure! You need to legalize it completely like Canada did, with all restrictions lifted so people can develop and sell proper strains and THEN people will come in droves!

There is very little science to support most of te claims. The truth is that regardless of te science people who use marijuana recreationally WANT it to have curative properties 

 

On the other hand recreational use of the stuff is pretty harmless and from the point of view of social ills is a lot less damaging than alcohol.

 

The result is that Thailand - always a hub for quackery - will reinforce this and cereal benefits of marijuana as a recreational drug are still in the background.

Certain people can be predisposed to mental illness and susceptible to serious conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, who have not had a trigger event.

 

Cannabis as well as other hallucinogenic drugs can trigger the onset of a serious mental illness to someone who could otherwise have lived life without the condition.  One session can be all it needs.  Others are lucky and never suffer. It is luck of the draw. 

 

Have a visit to a psych hospital and see how many patients have ended up there with permanent conditions, not just the temporary drug induced psychosis that can occur as well.

Riiiiiiiiight! There's more than enough studies now that prove the mediconal advantages of THC and CBD beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I guess you didn't care to look it up just so you can hold on to your negative point of view on the subject matter.

The  drug stance from the present government is hardly surprising when a convicted drug smuggler is a member of the cabinet.

How about reducing or offering a pardon to the hundreds convicted  for cannabis possession serving long sentences . Some of those caught  where lucky not to have a plastic bag placed over their head if unable  to  pay off the police .

Too much hypocrisy to fathom. After years of imprisoning and killing people, suddenly drugs are moneymakers. It all sounds like casinos and gambling will be next. Maybe make prostitution legal
