Sanook Thai Caption: Terrible airline meal

Thai media Sanook reported on an ongoing drama online in which an air stewardess for a Turkish airline found something in her meal she won't forget.

As she got to the end of her meal she found the head of a snake.

She was aghast and filmed the encounter.

Hostesses said they had found a snail and even a cockroach in meals from this company in the past.

The airline - not precisely named - said they were investigating their supplier and apolgised for the unacceptable incident.

The company involved has countered that meals were prepared in accordance with strict conditions and at a temperature of 280 degrees.

I think the air hostess' name is Anna Conda.

  • I'd be more shocked if the headline read "person finds something edible in their airline meal"!

  • Which will kill all the live bugs and reptiles in them..... good to know.

I can understand oversights, but how in the world would a snake head end up in an airline boxed meal? Who is their food supplier, a zoo???

I found what appeared to be a pube from the bottom a crew meal.

last month. Short ribs from Incheon Airport. Spicy and one of the only meals worth eating lately.

People freak out but I did not but it on Intagram or make a writeup.

I flicked it away and ate the meal anyway. Probably some dudes arm hair

What is the worst thing that can happen?

In Thailand, they even blur the head of the snake. ????

Maybe to avoid legal action from the snakes next of kin.

How on earth does a head of a snake gets into a flight meal? could it be no kind of Turkish delight maybe?...

why conceal the name of the airline? Name them and it will make them pay more attention to what they serve.

it needs to be asked, ''where is the rest of the snake'', did some other passengers get a protein bonus.

Why?  Because the airline does not prepare the meals that are served, that is contracted out.

The airline is responsible for the meals and the quality

That's your opinion.  The supplier is actually responsible for the meals and the quality.  The airline doesn't specify reptiles to be included in the meals.

That is a fact not an opinion

Yes, I know that what I wrote is fact and that you're entitled to your opinion.

If you look at the YouTube clip from the Sanook article it looks more like a turtle head than a snake...

Chickens are put into processing machine to remove the feathers and chop up and a snake slithers into the machine and gets chopped up as well ?

This pube was indeed a pube of a man who murdered over 3000 people.   If you reported this we could have been able to find the killer!!!!    That DNA was the most important piece of information in the last 100-years.....and you flicked it away????!?!?!!??   We searched around your seat for 10-days....nothing.

SunExpress Airlines - https://www.sunexpress.com/

Used to fly with them. Didn't get any snakes in meal and thought they weren't bad at all. It's a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines.

I would imagine its just the same as when eating in a restaurant, no matter if the restaurant cooked the meal or it was a heated up one bought from an outside wholesale caterer then its the restaurant who is responsible.

I know some Thai's who would be excited.

They'll put anything in their mouth.

Eat anything.

I was once on a Malaysian Air flight and got my breakfast which had a glass of orange juice with it.  I had taken a drink from it.  Then ate some more food and when I went back to take another drink there was a cockroach swimming in it.  I think the roach must have been in the tray and climbed up into the glass.  I showed it to the stewardess and she took the glass and never came back.  You think they would have at least offered to replace the drink.

probably not as aghast as her passengers will be later knowing they may have eaten the rest of it

It would not have bothered this guy.................
