Hi all

I live in a condo and opposite me is a ladyboy who smokes meth, slams doors has different men and other lb coming all hours of the night waking me up using the room as a brothel and crack house. How would you deal with this? I spoke to juristic they send security up but they never answer the door so waste of time. Thanks in advance! Im at my wits end.

I'd move, sounds like a problem waiting to happen.

  • If you are renting, as above, look elsewhere, even a different floor in the same building  Sometimes you have to make the effort to adapt to rectify a situation

A good example of why one should rent, not buy a condo. Much easier to get out of this kind of situation.

You obviously need to move. Hopefully it won't cost too much to extricate yourself from this situation.

+1

As unfair as it is, it is the only practical solution.

Doesn't sound like you have a lot of options OP. If I were you, I would join the party or move out.

You're not going to win a pissing match with a crackhead. Call the movers and chalk it up to a learning experience.

People buy condos but not in a dead end neighborhoods full of crack head kateoys as in the op. It's common sense.

Yup. It will only escalate on your or his/her side.

Put up , or move.

Ladyboys can get very ugly.

If you bought the Condo-Call the Police, if you are renting-"MOVE."

Wait him/her out, a crackhead has a limited life expectancy.

Terrible advice - - you would not tolerate it 1 week...

This topic again . . .

You have 3 choices:

1. Change the situation. Not likely to happen.

2. Adapt to the situation. Ear plugs, etc. Also not likely to happen.

3. Leave the situation. Best option. If you are the owner then sell. Even if you take a loss, your mental health requires you to vacate.

I didn’t buy it, I’m only renting but why should I move out when this crackhead is breaking the law. Anyone know any police or people that can help?

When did I say I bought it?

I think this situation will sort itself on it's own. People like this won't have stable life and this style of life is not sustainable for a very long time. Before you arrange movers & new place problem could be already gone.

Complain to the owner of the condo you rent from and explain you may be forced to move if it doesn't stop. Let him take the heat with the juristic person of the building. Bringing in the police yourself will not end well and probably have it disclosed to the offender. Other than that not much you can do other than live with it or move.

I can't see any good coming out of involving the police. If they bother to visit the lb a quick arrangement will be made whereby the police walks out with a smile and a few grams lighter body weight and the lb left to continue as before. The policeman will likely become a regular visitor. He will also have told the lb what the problem is - a sensitive and whiney farang renting opposite. Nobody wants to bust a lairy lb for smoking meth in his room, it's just not worth the hassle. Everything will continue the same except the lb will be aggressive and hateful which could end v badly.

Well..the owner will dislose the OP's identity to the offender too..

Conflict resolution ,in general, is terrible here.

Another reason not to get involved with properties, biz..etc.

Possibly, but not always. There are very few options as I mentioned and that's one of the lesser ones versus going to the police which will definitely be conflict resolution. The juristic person for the building has no responsibility to the renter to do anything but the owner does pay condo fees. In the end it may be back to live with it or leave as I pointed out.

First take a translator and go speak to the police to see if the'll do anything about it, if yes. install a camera and document the coming and going and the noise from that apartment and interduce that to the police as solid evidence, providing of course that this person will not suspect that it is you that called the police, otherwise hell hath no fury like mad LB...

A post containing a slur has been reported and removed.   Continue and face a suspension.

Do you own, or rent? If you own, rent out or sell your place. If you rent, move asap.

Are there any farangs on the Condo Committee, talk to them. I can't believe they would tolerate a crackhead brothel in the condo, mine certainly wouldn't.
