Will be interesting to see how that will affect AseanNow's current moderation approach.

As a Free-Speech Absolutist, I'm looking forward to the merger.

Moderators may be redundant too. Artificial Interlligence could be used. Not only for moderation but to write articles.

Can AN please stop advertising the Cannabis crap in the news  section

Totally agree!

All adverts for that crap should be banned world wide!

If you haven't noticed The Thaiger uses ChatGPT extensively.

Since mid November ThaigerTalk has totally changed - Free Speech is now their motto and from personal experience I can testify that TT is keeping its promise.

I was never banned there but I stopped using it after a couple of months. This was several years ago. They started snipping out parts of my posts almost immediately. Several TVF posters of the year at first migrated over there. But at least two prominent ones were banned or runoff.

Let's hope free speech will once again prevail just like Truth Social.

I just hope the lightning rod doesn’t reappear !

If so , ill be hanging my hat elsewhere!

For me, The Thaiger never handed down any forced holidays . Wish I could say the same for here.

I like The Thaiger !  Political discourse

allows Brietbart and twitter sources, to be fair.

So what happens ? Do we automatically  get gravitated to a new platform, be  required to  re-enlist , or just  carry on  being numb?

Just carry on. Same platform but with new powerful cloud servers, finally!

At least one thing won't change, very odd use of English in news reports.

Thaiger forums were not too kind to AN when it was experiencing outages last year, and especially harsh on the AN mods.

That's me done then, can't stand The Thaiger... Awful

They should have a portal called the octagon, so that when posters get into personal pissy elementary school arguments, they are removed from the main topic and can fight it out there like real men or tranny's or whatever pronouns they prefer..

Much like certain stadiums, ThaiVisa will never change names

It's always amazing to read the marketing blabla.

It would be interesting to know the real story.

The announcement was ridiculous puffery and yes, the real story would be much more interesting.
