trump claims he will make everyone's life better, so how will he do that if not by making changes to economic policy (the markets)

Plenty can be done without touching the economy directly, like not wasting money on Ukraine, not having illegals costing large, drilling, eliminating dead wood in government departments. It all adds up.

Snipped for brevity. Reporters are required to report, not to make their own personal judgement of the news, that's for opinion / editorials.. In addition there are now a number of fact check organisations, including within media companies to also address lies and misinformation; unfortunately they are often ridiculed by MAGA world.

Because they are all staffed by Democrat voters or ex MSM. in no way are they neutral as they should be

I agree it says a lot.

Maybe that's a testimony to the gullibility of Trump supporters!

Or maybe it’s a sign of a serious lack of critical thinking.

It’s easy to buy into a narrative that aligns with your views, especially when it's fed to you with emotion and simplicity.

Trump’s rhetoric isn’t about facts; it’s about selling convenient stories that fit people’s desires, not their reality.

If half of America is buying into that without questioning, it’s not just belief—it’s a failure to critically analyze what’s being said.

Embracing easy answers over hard truths doesn’t say much about intelligence, but it sure says a lot about the power of manipulation.

Yes, Democrats are all the above

When will the lefties learn that although name calling might make them feel better, it's facts like a sound economy, secure border, common sense as opposed to woke nonsense etc that wins elections. Listening to constant lefty bile on the media, hearing it from Hollywood and sports personalities doesn't endear them to the voting public. They should try sensibly analysing this Republican landslide and then maybe they'll realise this.

Listening to constant lefty bile on the media,

Didn't take them on here long to start with the lefty bile against Trump, and he's not even POTUS yet. Must be something to do with that Trump obsession thing- they just can't not post nasty things about him as often as possible.

Trump tried to get Clinton prosecuted.

No. He talked about it but in the end relented. So?

2 hours ago, pattayasan said:

He never produced evidence of corruption against her.

Comey himself did, but claimed prosecutors wouldn't take the case. Probably true, in a dept full of liberals protecting their own. Having her own email server w/ official gov't docs, deleting emails w/o oversight, Then there was the Benghazi debacle.

Or Biden Jr.

Hunter's laptop proved his influence peddling w/ 10% for "the big guy." Gov't corruption almost got him off the gun charges and tax evasion, but he's been convicted and his legal problems are ongoing. Biden himself retained gov't documents illegally, but escaped prosecution because he's a forgetful old man. WOT???

Watch Biden pardon the lot of them.

As head of the Biden Crime Family, you'd expect he would. We'll see.

Trump has declared an enemies list.

Let's see it and we can hope he goes after all of them. He should, if he hasn't. Give the leftist thugs back what he got. It's war now.

Propaganda press, hearsay, opinion by leftist hack academic, kind of guff you suck right up. Even falsely, and ignorantly, claims that Trump is a convicted felon--for the peanut gallery. He isn't convicted yet and so can't be a felon. WOT???

Thinking about prosecuting isn't prosecuting. Nothing wrong with also considering a special counsel, if he could find one objective. The DOJ was still protecting Hillary and Comey anyway. Now Trump gets it and seems he's going to mount a cleanup. Even a prominent fake news commentator thinks that's a good idea.

Tapper agrees DOJ needs to 'clean house' as Trump eyes reform: 'Help restore trust'

So that answers your nonsense. You'll no doubt continue bickering, resort to whataboutism, and make further false assertions from the fake news. I won't bother wasting more time.

10-15 million more than the average, where were they this time, the didn't switch to Trump, he got very similar to 2020, how strange that the highest vote ever was the only time mass  mail in ballots were used. And no signature or ID verification

Trump has inherited a “turd of an economy,” and when things “roll over,” he’ll be the one blamed for it. This dire news comes from COVID vaccine data analyst and former BlackRock asset manager Edward Dowd.

Dowd predicts things could “unravel anytime between now and March.” And if the incoming Trump administration doesn’t “get out in front of the narrative,” then they are “going to get blamed for what is coming.”

“The real economy (not the stock market) has been rolling over,” Dowd lamented, “and we’re just waiting for the financial markets to figure this out. They will. And when they do, unfortunately, Trump will inherit turd of a financial market crisis.”

I'm still waiting for the unemployment numbers to reflect all the "newcomers" that are without work.  I think they're waiting for Trump to get in before they add them to the "available labor pool".  At which time, there will be a spike in unemployment.  And they'll blame it on Trump, though it's Harris/Biden's fault.

I'll let you Google Edward Dowd to figure out if he's credible.

Sorry, but that excuse of inheriting a 'black hole' economy has already been done by Starmer and the British lefties.

Edward Dowd will need to come up with something more original (and credible).

Donald Trump has convinced many Americans that the economy is terrible, but a new analysis shows that's just as false as his election fraud claims that fueled the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Trump's 'huge lie' shows 'he’s taking everyone for an idiot': analysis

The american economy is terrible for at least 60% of the population.

Even Bernie Sanders agrees with this statement

Now, go back to eating dogs and cats in Springfield.

You really need to stop repeating the BS playing out on leftist new sites, just watched a live braodcast on NBC and they are saying that the economy and cost of living under biden/democrats was the reason trump won, they are a leftist new site and are saying that it is real and that people are suffering, kind of kills the BS you are spooking. Shows how pathetic the rusted ons really are trying to make up more BS

I do wish Trumpsters would post a credible source rather than sneering. I'd happily admit the OP's source is wrong.

Why can't you just google for yourself? Google is pretty biased, however. But our leftists here will only read the fake news and their usual propaganda sources and will refuse to read any others--as I can attest. So what's the point?

In fact, discussion is pointless. Our brainwashed leftists throw up a fake news article, the parrots repeat it, and so the rational thinkers are left arguing with fake news. Pop one balloon, it's ignored, another blown up. No mind ever changed.

Not once did trump prove the election was a fraud. Of course trump won't claim fraud now he has won though he is appointing conspiracy theorists for his upcoming administration, At least one of whom is a white supremist, Stephen Miller.

There's often a caveat. In the case of the booming Biden economy, where the US is growing 3 times faster since 2020 than the average G7 nation, and both consumer spending and consumer savings rates are up, it is crucial to have a marketable skill. Unskilled labor hasn't been able to benefit, because not much of it is needed in the modern technological economy. That leaves most of his cult out, as he owns the poorly educated and unskilled.

The even harsher reality for them is that not only can he not do a thing to help them, he no longer even cares, since he got the only thing he needed from them: their vote.

He will spend the next few years claiming he inherited a basket case, when the reality is nobody can help the kind of labor the world has left behind. No matter who won, those in society who lack educational credentials and/or marketable skills would have suffered. They are simply no longer necessary. They bought into his false promises and pie-in-the-sky dreams, because that is all they have. As the OP noted, he fooled them in the most cynical manner. You CAN fool some of the people all of the time.

For those who have skills and talents, the last 4 years under Biden have been a bonanza, the best times since the late 1990s under Clinton. Wealth has never accumulated faster into the hands of the haves. The POTUS-elect cannot fix this intractable trend toward a kind of Darwinian Capitalism. The strong have not only survived, we have prospered as never before.

If your net worth is down since 2020, it means you have been obviated by the modern world. He cannot help you, even if he still cared after 5 November, which he does not. If you cannot pony up $200K to join his garish club, you're what he would call a "loser".

The real caveat to apply to this "booming Biden economy" is the Covid era and post Covid spending/borrowing rebound, which has seen another uptick this year, despite Covid essentially being beaten, This is clearly displayed by the money supply chart in the link (below). Select to the 10yr option:

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/money-supply-m2

With the resulting high deficits and debt, the US economy can indeed be described as a basket case, from this aspect. Biden is one of the eggs in the basket and Trump is another (smaller) one - but at least Trump has mentioned trying to get debt reduced - we'll just have to see how that works out? When the egg basket becomes so overloaded that it falls off the shelf, then at least some of the eggs are bound to break and nobody will be able to stop that. At that time it will be a case of who is the best damage controller.

US stock market values have falsely been propped up by this free money plus all the previous QE money creation since the GFC. Anyone who likes spending money as much as Biden will, of course, be a temporary hero to the fortunate few who don't have to rely on SS and food banks etc.

Yes, wealth has landed into the hands of the haves. Looks like Walker is only interested in the survival of the strong/fittest and screw the rest. Right?
