That is to be seen...

If you can't fly without it, that means it IS compulsory AGAINST the LAW.

Anyway, I don't fly. I'm inside Thailand 23 years already, with permissions to stay. I not use planes, I'm driving all around the country where I avoid tourist places.

Enter 7/11 every-day. I have access without a muzzle without a problem. Never tested, never quarantined, never bothered.

As long as I live No RNA MODification vaccin into me.

You have NO right to fly. Got it? Are you going to next say it is against the law if they stop you from flying with your AK-47? Drivers licenses are compulsory in most countries... here it is loose enforcement to say the least... but in countries with rule of law, it is required. Do you have a Thai drivers license? Do insurance companies require you to have a drivers license?

How can you be so proud of being pig headed and not doing such a simple thing as wearing a mask to prevent deaths of yourself or others?

I suppose we could hope for some Darwin awards for those who think they can avoid virus by sheer will power. cull the herd of those who won't adapt

Anybody who chooses not to have the vaccine should not be let out of the asylum if they are that stupid – let alone being allowed to travel

No vaccine, no entry. That makes sense. If anybody has a certified medical reason for no vaccine that might be acceptable. But for all those people who just don't like a vaccine: No problem,

Even with a vaccine certificate, some brainbox will probably also recommend quarantine as before

In what country are you alluding too

This is already the case with Yellow Fever. If you’ve been in areas in South America or Africa where Yellow Fever is endemic,  most countries will not allow you entry if you fail to show the yellow International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis to prove you’ve been vaccinated. If you fail to show the document, some countries will tell you you have a choice.  Go to a room at the airport and get the Yellow Fever vaccination shot, or else you will be taking the next flight out.

I got my Yellow Fever shot and CVP certificate back in 2012. The CDC and WHO gave clearance now that the one YF shot is good for a lifetime. Ten year booster no longer needed.
I keep my CVP card with my passport. And I also keep a record of all my vaccinations... both regular and travel vaccinations with my passport and also in “Cloud” storage with photos of my other documents.
Plenty of blank lines in the card to add Covid-19 shot records.
I guess most of the Covid-19 vaccines will be a two shot series, 28 days apart.  Most likely not just one shot.

When I first visited Thailand in the 70's you needed to have a proof of vaccination and this card had to be stamped before you could go through passport control.

Geoffggi, please quote a source that indicates they haven't been approved.

It just makes sense.

Actually it will be 2 jabs.

Requirement,,,,,, vaccinated 3 weeks prior to travel

Thais who are overseas who wish to come home same requirements

It has to be this way & airlines will need to enforce.

As I have already said, the brains trust are working on a certificate of vaccination they say will be

99.999% non forgeable or transferable

I know that one Russian Covid-19 vaccine, called “Sputnik V”, got approval....(not sure from where or whom) after testing in only 76 volunteers.
Not sure I would trust that one.

“The first of three vaccines that Russia expects to bring to market, it was developed at the government’s Gamaleya Institute and approved after testing in just 76 volunteers.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his own daughter had taken the vaccine, a nod to the 1950s Russian researchers who inoculated their own children against smallpox.”

Want to get back to thailand quick.

get admitted to a carehome and or work in one and be first in line for the uk vaccination programme ,which is supposed to start next month .

So hopefully i could be vaccinated before

i fly to thailand in jan 2021

I wonder if the vaccination will flag you up as a positive covid test if you just recently had the shot ???

And that is if the Vaccines pan out during Trials.

There still may be some issues with the Trials.

It is possible.

Given the Thai Government’s low-risk strategy, well almost zero-risk strategy, and reluctance to take any chances with a second wave of Covid 19, it is highly likely there will be a stipulation that anyone entering Thailand ...

It wasn’t that long ago that people traveling internationally carried a yellow WHO booklets with their vaccination records including those for yellow fever, cholera, etc. Travelers accepted that requirement or were denied entry to some countries... and were left to roam elsewhere.

I do agree with not Leting anyone in who refuses the vaccine  but if the  Majority of us won't have the vaccine until late 2021(At least in the Uk) by the earliest won't this just kill the Toustst Industry completely?

That being said I can't wait to tell the 1 or 2 Anti vaxers I know they probley won't be able to go on holiday unless they have it.I have already taken  The pleasure in telling one of them I  won't be splashing out for A suit or flowers for his funeral if he dies Of CV and I mean it.These people really are insane they read some nonsense on Facebook and believe it I think it's a power thing  One I know is addicted to Coke but when I asked him if he is  worried about the Vaccine not been safe dose he routinely check his coke for rat poison before he sticks it up his hooter.

I think these idiots shouldn't even be allowed in the workplace let alone to Travel.

What in God’s name is so difficult about this? In my early years, along with a passport and visa we always carried a yellow international vaccination certificate. It was checked on entry wherever you went, not a problem. People who resist this should just stay home, hide in the closet and let the rest of us get on with living full lives!

it will be a complete joke if they still want you to quarantine if you have had the vaccine.

Only if the vaccine has been thoroughly tested. Normally it takes 10 years at least to do that. So what corners have been cut?? Until they  have long term trials no one knows what possible side effects there are!

Utter nonsense, compulsory vaccination is unconstitutional against human rights.

Respect for the good health of the rest of the community should also be compulsory.

Well let's hope they don't make it compulsory otherwise your 23 years without a muzzle might be coming to an end...

"On a positive note, the Thai government may drop the 14 day quarantine for people that have had the vaccine (but not in the early days). "

As the vaccines probably wont be widespread until the end of next year that tells you where tourism is going, going...gone.

I really hope it wont be mandatory to be vaccinated in order to visit thailand the first year at least...

It surely will be. Talks in parliament now are; get your first vaccination before applying a visa for Thailand, and get the booster at least a week before flying in. Evidence of both jabs to be presented on arrival in Thailand (and some even ask for a 24 hour wait on the test in the airport, near the airport before moving on. Makes perfect sense!

Well lets charge the Thai's 2-300% more for their supply orders of The Vaccination..... "That'll Learn em"

Yep, maybe also need to wear a mask, heaven forbid, the end of the world is at hand.

Not for Thai, I hope.

No vaccine no travel... or quarantine, only two options for next year if you want to get away.
