These vax certificate rules only apply in dark red areas?  But if they open everything up, every province will turn dark red?

Thanks.

My appointment slip for the second shot carries a big QR code, too. Maybe I scan this one and see what happens.

It's just a way to link you to a website...nothing more

When are bars open?

That should be priority number one

How does being vaccinated help when vaccinated people can still get infected and spread the virus about as easily as the unvaccinated, even if they don't get so sick.

Good point, these easing of restrictions should be for everyone.

Yeah.

And maybe the could lift the food massage to the navel.

Unless you pay someone not to get jabbed ..........but still get the required paperwork.

Well I cannot see them specifically mentioned - so they are the high risk venues (eg eateries) - I am sure this will be corrected as part of the flip floppety flip flip

Hey

Does anyone have a link to "high risk businesses" ? or, the business listed are the high risk ones. Sorry I have difficulties understanding the chronological order as swimming pools remain closed (no sarcasm )

Why would the companies that have produced life saving vaccines need immunity from prosecution?

shouldn’t people who falsely claim the vaccines are dangerous be prosecuted?

Because the anti vax bunch love to sue, which takes time and money to defend against.

10% of the population is vaccinated - no fault of their own - the snail pace rollout of vaccines is totally on the government.  We've all watched it as it has unfolded.

Now?  The government states that 90% of the population will be banned form Thai businesses because they are unvaccinated?.  There's nothing like pulling the trigger on the "The Unvaccinated Will Kill Us All" canard when most people who want a shot, can't get a shot.  But that's ok Plebs - No Big-C, Tesco, or Marko for you!  <laughs>.

Welcome to Clown World.  ????  Utterly amazing.  Well, TIT.  You'd think that they'd at least wait until the vaccinated rate is over 50% and vaccines widely available.  Either that or they'll roll this back a couple of months.
"Kor tote, kor tote, big mistake!"  Until October or November when they have the numbers.  Before then?  They will shoot themselves in the foot in their glee to show the minions who is boss.

to be honest ...... it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Folks on here say do this do that ....

others say open up, forget about the transmission rate, it will subside eventually.

Everyone here has a different opinion ......   you whine and moan if the government suppresses the businesses,  then you b_tch and moan if they open it up.

Everyone on TV thinks they know what's right  !   but hey,  everyone on here is not running the country .....

--And the Teelack's boss is already massaging the rules to suit their need for sales staff before the anticipated September 1st opening of the mall:

--You can work if you have had two jabs of Sinno-something or one jab of Astra Zenica and are scheduled for your second.

--Screening of customers is going to be lax or non-existent.  Come on in and bring your money.

If you are vaccinated but, I am not, what risk do I pose to you? If you are vaccinated BUT are still able to catch and spread the virus to me.....what use is your being vaccinated to me, in relation to stopping the spread to me? The vaccine seems a bit like a treatment, it stops YOU from dying... or getting very sick, or so they say. Ok, I will go with that,. Therefore, I have no problem with you getting a vaccine. If you are vaccinated then great, the vaccines work right? So....whats the problem?

Similar levels of virus.....mmmmmmm......sounds 'catching'

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/delta-infection-unvaccinated-and-vaccinated-people-have-similar-levels-of-virus#Delta

The problem is that you - meaning all the unvaccinated - cause a burden overall to society. Even though your personal risk is small, collectively there is a certainty in numbers. A percentage of cases will be hospitalized, and a smaller percentage will die. These numbers are much higher for unvaccinated. All of the hospitalized cases require a massive amount of resources, and deny other people with other illnesses the care that they require. So, you, as one person, don't really represent a risk to me, one person. But collectively, you represent a risk and cost to society. And that is a risk to me, and a cost to me.

But this topic has been discussed for the last 1.5 years ad nauseum. At this point, if you are still asking the question, then you will probably never understand the answer.

"Authorities asked business operators to ensure service staff are fully vaccinated and regularly tested with antigen kits, and to require customers to show proof of vaccination and negative tests."

Am I wrong in thinking that it is illegal to force an employee to take a drug they do not want to take or else face pay deductions or dismissal?

This is so pitiful as can be! Try to copy other coutrys system in Thailand, those countrys has almost vaccinated all who want vaccine! Its also one tool to "force" rest people to get vaccine, these donks think great we open restaurants and all sinovac jabbed run in ! Hallelujah all in this  business sector has saved and owners of restaurants are happy!

Remember 16 months ago we had to scan codes or sign in to enter places. How long did that last before people just started to turn a blind eye ?

and by your self appointed superior position you think otherwise - meaning you know better - like I said - you don't, that doesn't detract from your right to an opinion of course but it does clarify exactly what you said - you called other posters out - I am calling you out

I do remember and your correct ....

Dead in water before it starts also added to the fact that very few are fully vaccinated.

My second jab is late October and even if I had a certificate I wouldn't be bothered to produce it.

.

Time to trade in the old B&W laser printer, for a color one.

Get the card you need at any Market from today.

But hey ! Why bother, nobody is going to check

No truer words have ever been written.

But I digress, anyone who thinks they are going to Thailand, get a visa extension, etc etc etc and isn't double vaccinated will have a reckoning starting when they get their vaccine numbers out.  At this point maybe maybe late next year.
