Popular Post KannikaP Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 (edited) Bad bad rain! How fast was he going to do that to his pick-up. Hey Moonlover, what are you sad about, my post or the guy killing himself in the rain? Edited August 29, 2021 by KannikaP 9 1
Popular Post Wiggy Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 Shouldn’t that read, ‘Third death from recent stupid driving in local area’? 9

Popular Post wprime Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 Judging by the damage, the rain must have been made of cement. 1 7

Popular Post Walker88 Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 (edited) Very generous of the writer to imply this unfortunate accident was rain-related. It seems rather obvious, even to the casual observer, that 'something else' might have been a contributing factor. It reminds me of an article I read many years ago in media that shall not be named. A man was found drowned, with both his arms and legs tied around the posts of a pier, below the water line. The dead man's back was to the post. The line that forever sticks out in my mind was: "Police have not yet ruled out foul play". Edited August 29, 2021 by Walker88 3
FritsSikkink Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 He didn't die because of the rain, he was driving too fast. 2

bristolgeoff Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Look at the damage in the rain and driving very fast. What did he hit a armour plated wall.dead on impact for sure 1
Popular Post Gottfrid Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 At least we can all see that he kept up the general driving speed the whole way to the end. 1 3
Popular Post Mr Meeseeks Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 This is what happens when you are doing 100kph in the rain and you realise your agricultural utility vehicle doesn't have the brakes or handling of a sports car. 4

PETERTHEEATER Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Who was the 'hoodie' in the passenger seat? 1
Popular Post shady86 Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 Lately Covid death tolls have overtaken road deaths so these drivers are working hard to maintain the numbers. 3
Scott Tracy Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Apparently a concrete overpass pillar was found damaged... So perhaps the rain was contributory, but hitting a concrete pillar wouldn't help.... 1
Popular Post digger70 Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 No witnesses were found at the scene. Police believed that the driver might have lost control of his vehicle in the rain due to wet roads. RIP. So even the cops are finding excuses for the accidents, blaming the weather . 2 1
thailand49 Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Another example of pedal to the medal driving! For starters instead of the training manual filled with cartoons and useless information including majority of the question in their written test put in for starter " adjust your driving to the condition on hand " when it rains SLOW DOWN! It doesn't mean T.IT. speed up the faster one goes the faster they be home out of the rain and in bed. Based on the picture this guy was going 90 KM/H plus 2
Popular Post DefaultName Posted August 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2021 There are very few undriveable road conditions. In the West we are taught to modify our driving so as to be safe within the prevailing conditions. Thai drivers seem to believe that the road conditions will adapt to suit them and don't change anything. Wet, dry, night, day, drunk, sober, tired......... they drive in the same manner. And they die. A lot. 3
Isaan sailor Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 I don’t see a lot of tread on the back tire. Always ride on good, deep treads. Because you never know when it’s going to rain…
trainman34014 Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Ah yes; another F1 Thai Pick-Up driver who goes flat our everywhere in any conditions. Yesterday i was driving in heavy rain; steady 60, straight road, Lights on and taking extra care. Meanwhile i'm being passed by plenty of F1 Pick-Up's all going like the clappers to beat the next Red Light (or jump it), most had no Lights on and were driving to kill themselves and/or others. Mindless Morons comes to mind ! 2 1
Lucky Bones Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Driving to the conditions. It seems to be something Thailand does not grasp. 2
