Thailand's health minister and DPM was upbeat yesterday but had a warning for people after it emerged that fake vaccine certificates were being offered online.

Don't do it or the consequences for you and your loved ones could be severe.

You could even be sent to prison, he warned.

Anutin announced that 50,012,231 people had now had their first dose breaking what he said was the 50 million target, reported Daily News.

43,572,431 have had two, 4,266,735 have had three and 41,759 have even had four.

He encouraged everyone to get their jabs so that they could enjoy the New Year festivities when vaccination will be de rigeur.

The odds that the honorable DPM knows the meaning of de rigueur are about a million to one so I doubt he actually used the phrase.

And as the journalist spelled it incorrectly I doubt he/she/they understand it either.

Well get a grip of your departments beaurocrats then you hapless plonker. My second dose (Pfizer - first was Sinovac) was in September and your uniformed bemedaled goons still cannot provide me with a certificate!

I suppose it is easier to bump your gums vaccuously and threaten  people with imprisonment.

Is this for the fake vaccines you imported from China?

The thai "legal" system summarized in seven words.

I got my certificate and (of course) the QR code didn't work. Even though I got it from the hospital where I got my jabs it will probably flag up as fake.

I opened my Mor Prom app a week after my 2nd jab back in October.

My surname name was spelt wrong, my day of birth was wrong, along with the month and year, also my passport number was jumbled and 2 numbers wrong on my phone number.

Lucky my 6+++++ number worked or I would never have found it.

So where exactly are the sites selling these...

It's time that they penalize those people who use fake vaccine cert for their Thailand Pass.

I do agree with Anutin on this.

How about finding the online suppliers of these fake vaccine certificates and prosecuting them?

After hearing this threat for every little misdemeanour it's just like, yeah, whatever. I think I've now integrated to society here.

Is it possible to get a fake vaccination passport online?

If so, they are ahead of the game.

Shows some people have no respect for laws nor care for anyone else. They should be executed instead.

One could cast this critique towards all of 'em.

Dig a little deeper.

No respect for the laws or anyone else. Sounds like the brown shirt mafia better known as the Thai police.

It doesn't though does it. It just show people become immune to empty threats. Regarding your last point I think you need to seek help or move to North Korea.

What about anything else fake here??? Which is nearly EVERYTHING! :cheesy:

If this ???? would have done what he is paid for, nobody would go for a fake. He is useless. Period.

Are these fake vaccine certificates even being produced?

Sounds more like he wants an excuse to threaten people and show his power

Perhaps he meant 'rigor mortis' ????

Then u would have nobody to talk to ha ha

If they would not force people to get a vaccine or they cannot stay in work, in school, in society or move around, they would not have to deal with issues like that.

Wherever you put inappropriate force onto people, people will slip through the gaps under the pressure. Not because they want, it is just a natural reaction. Force pressure, experience counter-pressure.

Not people but governments worldwide should be collectively send to prison, for breaching of international human rights and their own national constitutions.

Even the government is fake.

Have you downloaded the Mor Prom app?

I had my first 2 doses elsewhere but had my 3 dose here in Thailand about 2 weeks ago. Downloaded the app the next day and all my info was there. I then applied for the free International Certificate and received it after 3 days by e-mail. I think this is free until the end of Dec. I also paid 100 baht for a hard paper certificate from the hospital, the blue one with an official stamp. They like the stamps here don't they!!

How do you know I am not already here?
