really    !     wow .....  10 shots fired from a .38 or something and neighbor's  said hey '    don't worry dear it's just fire crackers ' ........       glad I don't live in that villa.     Lol

I think if two hit men want you dead, even the neighbourhood watch can't save you.

He did have a Canadian passport but was kicked out back to India.

Not possible for a "Canadian man" to be deported from Canada.

Citizenship can be stripped in australia for serious criminal offences and jail time, deportation to country of origin.

Perhaps this bloke had dual nationality and they can revoked his citizenship

Ah. I thought so. So the headline was wrong. He was an Indian not a Canadian..

Thailand:  Foreign Tourist Safety is first and foremost in the hearts and minds of the TAT and other officials.  Never mind the shootings and machete murders - nothing to see here - "Move along!"

Phuket: Safe and effective (at reducing the number of foreigners).
No doubt we will soon hear that the Canadian guy was a 'bad man.'

He WAS an Indian thug who had been deported from Canada for gangster activity!

I can't feel any pity towards him, because when you reach a position where somebody else has you killed, it mostly means you have hurt several other people too.

Glad I'm living in safe Pattaya.

That Phuket sounds like a bad place to live ????

Mid-Sommer in England seems to have about 5 murders a week. It's true, I've seen it on TV, in colour.

The old saying, "live by the sword, die by the sword" comes to mind and I have no sympathy whatsoever for him.

it'll be drugs or money owed.   imo

I would say Got in the way of money going to someone else (i.e. competing in business) or insulted someone who can't afford to be publicly insulted (not paying money owed comes under that).

I wonder which two of the three of him was on Overstay ?

Reading about this Geezers life you quickly come to the conclusion that he wouldn't get to 40 !

He was born in India, raised in Abbotsford B C and was eventually deported. Jimi 'Slice' Sandhu was his name, apparently the "slice" part referred to a scar on his face.

Thank you for your unbiased view of the British press. Yet they didn't report this story and the original  reporters got the information  wrong but the DM got it right.
