Foreign Man Threatens Vlogger on Soi Pothole

I found his road trip to Hua Hin very funny.  Well except the bit a fellow motorbiker he had for a time, travelled closely with,  in a traffic jam .. was much much later seen dead in a body bag after an accident. The upset Vlogger said he recognised the bike lieing near the body.

Captain Chaos had a new SatNav app on his phone .. it took him the wrong way along dual carriageway many times. He was going round the same route for a long time ... round a big loop.

Cue much cursing and swearing.  He just carried on .. the wrong way (on the hard shoulder) ... with trucks passing very close, that were going in the right direction.

Mucho F words. Unbelievable.

He said normally in Thailand, he justs asks people for directions. Not 1 mention of using a map.  (You just get on say route 7,  then look for next route number. He did not have a map or know the route numbers).

On the outskirts of Bangkok he kept going the wrong way. Eventually he asked someone, for directions to Hua Hin.  The guy started to give them but then pointed out a bus going to Hua Hin and told the Vlogger to follow it.

Which he did for a long way. But it was very often in a stationary traffic jam. So he had to abandon that idea.

He is scared going over high bridges.  No idea why his panic got me laughing.

I am not sure how he got to Hua Hin, not knowing the road numbers or having a map. The SatNav app had stopped working.

I had skipped forward a boring bit of him eating in a rest area and he suddenly was in Hua Hin.

Sorry ...  this is off topic but it is a very funny video. I am hooked now ....  I should get a life / and need therapy.

His videos are funny. I guess because he is a bit crazy.

????????

Recently driving in Bangkok for first time my phone was losing juice and my charger wasn't working. Couldn't find my way out of Bangkok without Map, I made it to the 7 before phone died.

I watched the video again .. well I skimped through it trying to get a screenshot of when he was filming quite a while INSIDE a bar .. to show the resulting screen dump ( blurring faces ) on here.  But I either missed it or he has edited it out.

Hey Ho.

I am surprised You Tube allow all the swearing on his videos. F word and C word common. I swear but dont tape it and post it on You Tube.

He was taking a chance video-ing a group of lady boys. His childish laughter was not at the LBs but could have been misconstrued (?) and he get mashed.

The level of his immature stupidity was shown in another video when he walked into Soi 9 Police Station with his cam on a stick filming. He was very surprised to be soon told not to film. Bless.

The bit earlier when he was nabbed for no helmet riding his bike, in WS ... when the Policeman rode away with the vloggers keys  .. made me laugh. The vlogger to be fair was very confused ... but reasonably laid back.  I would have probably been a bit more of a drama queen.

I am not sure his filming outside Jomtien immigration with/interviewing an agent was very discreet.

The agent was Indian and the crazy vlogger was saying no need to have the right documents, just see this guy and gave his contact details.  Huge queue of those doing it correctly in background.

At the end he said .. the agent has just gone off on the back of a Policeman's bike (if I heard it right).  I guess these arrangement not exactly a big secret.

He did say later on that video he should maybe stop vlogging in red light areas. Eureka .. the penny has dropped.

He is off now I believe on a small motorbike, heading to Chaing Mai.  What could possibly go wrong.  I think he should rename himself Captain Chaos

He probably soon will do a vlog about thai hospitals..

Exactly why would Thailand be any different than other countries.

I did have to laugh when the old geezer ran out of the bar. He is definitely upset about other things not just Mr bad hair cut filming his bar.

Indeed. Thank you. One difference here is the plethora of ill informed, foreigners who feel entitled to comment about that which they nothing sometimes  just in the basis that at one-time they nearly had enough money to visit this country but failed so went to Ibiza instead..and live..and post in regret..

It always makes me laugh when people say about two foreigners fighting what would the old bill do.  They probably tell them both to wind their necks in a <deleted> off

Filming the staff and patrons in a red light district? What a moron.

I haven't viewed this clip (it's redacted and I'm too lazy to search for it) but this reminded me --

There's a guy who's organized a regular pub-crawl meetup which (based on the first couple anyway) doubles as a source of material for his YouTube channel, and involves, um, venues featuring Ladies and Second Type Ladies of the Night.

I saw him starting this and thought "no <deleted> way, why would anybody volunteer for that kind of exposure?"

Most recent event had so many people the bars wouldn't let them in.  I don't know if there's a moral to it other than "FalangTingTong Misunderestimates Expat Reputational Awareness" but hey -- if it works, it works!

There are a few good you tubers I watch from Thailand.  One is a youngish ozzie guy lives hua hin. Got a cute girlfriend. Being stuck in London since pandemic started not been back to Thailand I enjoy his vloggs. Although reason I not been back is due to work not stopped really since this covid started. Also Kev (RIP) was quite good with his hotel reviews etc.

I can't watch that video, is Pattaya really like that? The first bar was horrible, the shop he wanted to go into with the lady boy and fat women. Oh dear, I think I'll have nightmares.

I suppose the same could be asked of the bar owner... but there must be some history here, and the bar owner can decide who can do what in his place.... not out on the street.

So how does Thai law work when one foreigner hits another foreigner?  Do the police even care?

Well you see the many lovely keyboard warriors here planning to lay the guy out. Fortunately in real life, when faced with the BKK Hilton and a plane ticket home, where they've often burnt bridges and have no home to return to, they quickly change their tune. ????

I've seen much worse vloggers. This guy wasn't so bad. The bar owner could've taken it two ways:

1) Ah, a vlogger. Publicity for my bar. Welcome to my bar, let me show you around. I've seen many Thais do this. There's a lot he could learn from them.

2) Become Mr. Testosterone/Viagra/whatever as seen here.

That being said, there's too many vloggers out there now, especially in Patts. More often now they're bumping into and filming each other. Hah. Market saturation.

Well heck, there's just too many farangs in Patts now period. The vloggers are hardly an indicator of this, more like the lines going around and around and down the street from immigration. Haha. How do you stand it? I'm in and out of my Issan office every time. I can always drive to the beach on a holiday.

To be fair to the chap who got confrontational with the immature vlogging moron ....

1) The Vlogger actually walked INSIDE repeat INSIDE and up and down the whole length of one bar nearby that had a live band. He went close up to the band .. within a few feet and panned round the whole bar .. customers and some girls looking aghast.  He did order a beer as he entered but him sitting and drinking it was cut out or he was not served.

2) The vlogger then walked up Soi Pothole. Many many girls were getting annoyed he was pointing the camera in their faces and rear ends. They were the bait girls outside the bars. He also pointed the camera into the bars.

3). As he passed the guy who he later had a ruck with .. the bar owner asked him to not film his bar and customers.

4) The vlogger shouted obscenities at him.  Then continued up the Soi pissing off more people.

5) He turned round and was immaturely saying he was going back to <deleted> off the guy again and went out his way to point it at the bar owner and the bar.. The vlogger was looking for trouble and got it.

6) Unbeluevably after the 'fight' .. just pushing and shoving .. its hard to tell from the camera moving vigorously .. the vlogger was childishly giggling like a moron as he walked away that he was really happy he got a good video to post. He had not a clue filming INSIDE of red light bars was a problem.  No empathy or wisdom.

7) Other farang and Thai girls were shouting at the vlogger idiot as he walked up and back in the Soi.  He managed to <deleted> dozens if not hundreds of people in 10 minutes.  Walking into any bar with a camera is just bad manners  ... let alone naughty bars full of skimpily dressed girls.  The bar owner was maybe protective of girls and customers throughout the street that the Vlogger was filming and pissing them off.

???? I repeat .. he was walking into bars and filming. I saw the entire video but I read its been deleted now. But many on here are saying he was in the right.

Durrrrrrrrrrr

So what?

Does this really bother you?

What do you expect to happen in the red light district in Thailand?

Tuxedoes and Manners?

So the video has been deleted ?  I am surprised he did that , I think it was his most popular video.

I had to check, nope it's still there, 15000 views now, If I was filmed in a bar like that  I would have reported it to Youtube.

Yes you  report it, while you are out cavorting with prostitutes.

Last thing I want when I'm out enjoying myself is someone pointing a camera at me, it's a massive invasion of privacy.

This 'vlogger' guy is gonna get laid out if he carries on like that. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

If you are being filmed from a public road, to bad for you.

Why does this bother you so much? Have something to hide?

PS No one is going to lay anyone out.

Criminal offense? My god man.

Had a good laugh at that one.

You are out in public in Thailand.

Do you really think you have a right to privacy?

Recording someone without their permission is unwise, possibly illegal, definitely impolite, somewhat voyeuristic and can get you a slap, deservedly so if you are asked to desist.

Possibly illegal? Surrounded by prostitution?

What is unwise is getting into a physical fight when the other guy has the video of you starting it.

If he comes to Chiang Mai hopefully we can get a meet and he can come for a ride with my local bike group. That's if he doesn't get killed on his way.

Really? So if your wife or daughter was hanging out at the local swimming pool or the beach in her bikini and some scruffy old man followed her around taking pictures of her and subsequently posting them on the internet to make some cash, that would just be too bad for her? It wouldn't bother you? You'd conclude that she must have something to hide?

Strange logic indeed. ????

As for getting laid out, if the bar owner wasn't an OAP it would have happened already. Let him keep spinning the wheel, sooner or later someone less geriatric will try and succeed.

From what I know about YouTube, a million views gets you about 1,000 pounds.

So this peeping Tom has earnt about 26 quid from this video. Maybe that's a fortune to some Isaan pauper, but not to most of us.????

I think he's the bar manager of that place.  If that vlogger shows his face on that street again there are a lot of people who will want a piece of him.  Thai and farang.
