I am indeed neutral on US politics but the way the FBI is going after Trump is clearly politically motivated, it's clear as day. However, you radical lefties would never admit such a thing since behind all your talk of due process you secretly support it due to your hatred of Trump. Acting as if judges cannot show political bias or be bought ????.

 

Like I said, people with skin in the game cannot see the wood for the trees, or simply choose to ignore it since it matches/supports their political agenda. It requires a neutral observer like myself to point out the glaringly obvious and even then the Antifa types will shout us down with their usual vitriol. ????

I agree people should go to jail irrespective of their politics. Which makes the Hunter Biden debacle even more puzzling.

He is currently not in jail and he is currently considered innocent.

But because crimes are suspected the authorities try to collect evidence. I think that makes a lot of sense. And if they don't find any evidence then the FBI can apologize. No big deal. 

 

Personally I don't know much about Hunter Biden and don't care much about him. If he is guilty then he should be prosecuted and maybe jailed. But Hunter Biden is unimportant. But Trump is center stage of what happened and what possibly will happen in the future, big time. It's important to make sure American's know if he is a criminal. Bring the evidence to court and decide about his guilt.

The fact that you keep bringing up Hunter Biden (and Antifa???) shows your extreme political bias.  You are not a neutral observer, it's as clear as day.  Why do you keep saying that?  Do you think it would give you more credibility?  It does not.

 

Trump is under investigation for multiple crimes, in multiple jurisdictions.  The evidence is overwhelming.  Most observers can't believe he hasn't been indicted already, myself included.  But it's because of due process, the rule of law, and the fact that no ex-President has ever been indicted that it's taking so long.  Fact is, if Trump is not indicted, it will show the world that the US is not a country of laws.  Rather, it will show that our system is corrupt, politics rule, and that the powerful is above the law.

You and I don't know whether has committed a crime. What you read into what has happened is up to you. Logic would suggest the FBI have a serious reason to do this and would have been aware of the short and long term ramifications of doing so. Be open to the possibility that law is being followed appropriately. See what happens.

The fact that American is still following a legal route to Trump makes it the absolute opposite of a banana republic. Although the January 6th hearings have taken a long time to get done, they have been thorough and damning in equal measures. On top of this, these raids by the FBI are part of an investigation into Trump's removal of official presidential records from the White House to his Florida resort (amazingly enough, you can't do this) and was on the back of The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration in February notifying Congress that it had recovered about 15 boxes of White House documents from Trump's Florida home, some of which contained classified materials. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-says-fbi-is-raiding-his-florida-estate-what-legal-woes-does-he-face-2022-08-08/

 

All of this is completely justified because, yet again, Trump refuses to follow the rules and acts in a manner that just automatically arouses suspicion (why WOULDN'T you return records to The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration UNLESS you had something to hide).

 

Whether you think it's just a witch-hunt is irrelevant because the facts don't lend to that argument; he DID try to interfere in the election (and is in deep trouble in Georgia), he still insists the election was stolen and he did insight the January 6th attack on the Capitol. It wouldn't take a huge leap of imagination to think he stole or destroyed sensitive documents as well. 

 

P.S. A 'neutral' observer doesn't call people 'radical lefties' or refers to Antifa when the subject has nothing to do with it and they certainly don't keep going on about irrelevant facts such as Hunter Biden's laptop. There is nothing 'neutral' about your political leanings and I think that's very obvious to most.

I'm sure you were similarly vociferous when Jim Comey re-opened an investigation into Hilary Clinton's emails on October 28, 2016.

 

Leaders in Israel and South Korea have been prosecuted. In Peru all but a few fomer leaders have NOT been prosecuted.

All documents going into the WH are entered into a log.  There is then a description of the document kept with the log.  The Archives will have the logs, but the documents are missing.   

 

Nothing more than a common thief.

As you may not be aware, Robert Mueller found grounds for 10 counts of obstruction of justice committed by Trump. But because Justice Dept policy says a President can't be indicted while in office, Mueller suggested other avenues. i.e. impeachment. Barr quashed that by misrepresenting the contents of the report. He was latter castigated by a federal judge for lying about the report.
