A YOUNG MAN who is still studying and tried to break up with an older married woman with whom he had an affair was hit with a 400,000 baht palimony claim, Matichon said Thursday evening (Nov. 3).

 

Mr. A (pseudonym), 24, went to Bangkok Noi police station today to clarify that he did not rape the 46-year-old woman with whom he got involved last year.

 

When he tried to break up with her she had harassed him and also got other people to do so, he added.

She wasn't his girlfriend, this sounds like he forgot to ask the price before taking her home what sounds like multiple times.

Is this possible for a married women to get palimony from an affair?  Doesn't sound like they even lived together.   Would like to know some specs on her and a face picture.   Wonder where she was going on the train daily.  This kid sounds like a rich kid and she wants some money.

So Thailand still won't legally recognise civil partnerships but you can sue a partner for palimoney. That makes as much sense as allowing a foreigner to legally own a house, but not the land that it sits on!

One day he asked her for her Line and Facebook ID but she told him that she was already married. He kept quiet for three to four days after which she got in touch with him and started telling him about her problems.
