Anyone sighted "The Edge of Everything"   It was released in USA on 24th Nov Ireland   21 Nov- but can not locate it.  It's probably not of much interest to most here as its a Bio on Ronnie O'Sullivan.  It touches on his father's murdering of the older Kray brothers Chauffeur-(when you have the name Kray-- Chauffeur usually reads Bodyguard)...so he got sent to prison in the 90s---and then the mother followed him to prison for tax evasion. Which left him looking after the family Business  (which was Pornography) and trying to become the worlds best snooker player. Surprised it was released in the USA, I didn't think they were into the big table sport that much.....anyway done all the usual places ---maybe missed one...gives a shout ......:coffee1:

Comedy? Are you sure?

Those forced 'Helium' voices makes me laugh. Specially the Minny character.

Last night, I watched The Professor and the Madman (2019) - IMDb 7.2/10.

Quite an amazing story about the writing of the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, a task which took 70 years to complete.

Stars Mel Gibson and Sean Penn were both outstanding in their roles.

The wife is a bit of Liam Neeson fan, we watched In The Land Of Saints & Sinners last night.

It got a 7.2 on IMDB so just about sneaked in there. I thought it was interesting, I liked the sets, Ireland in the 70s, the storyline was a bit predictable, the casting good - lots of the usual suspects when it comes to series / movies. There are no subtitles, but I let the wife just watch it anyway, she kept focus for the duration even tho' she hadn't a clue what was being said.

I watched this (In The Land Of Saints & Sinners) last night and thought it was good, and like your wife, I am a bit of a Liam Neeson fan, so it ticked every box for me.

I have to admit there were times when I was struggling to understand what was being said, but in the main all good. Thanks for the recommendation.

Okay, here's a test for you avid movie watchers, because I remember watching this particular movie two or three times in the past, but have lost track of it, and what's worse, I can't remember the name of it!!

But if I give you a few clues maybe you can come up with the name............ the movie actually takes place in the cabin of a professor/teacher who is about to leave and go, so there are things being moved out of the cabin whilst the dialogue is going on.

The main thing about the dialogue is that this professor claims he has lived forever (reincarnated?) and recalls instances throughout history that actually stump the other folks/professors in the cabin, and he is able to describe some of the instances in great detail. Not only that, his knowledge of the past events is seemingly unchallengeable.

At the end of the movie he is at the entrance to his cabin when one of the older professors is about to leave and they have an exchange whereby the guy who claims he has lived forever is able to recall something which touches this older professor and he remembers this particular instance (son perhaps?) but the older guy dies or has a heart attack?

It is extremely well acted and very plausible and would love to know the name of it so that I can watch it again and put it in my movie collection.

Has anyone any ideas of the name of this particular movie – – another clue would be that it didn't receive "worldwide recognition" and the actors although very good were not the superstars that folks now fawn over.

Thank you in advance.

Yes -:)

Thank you again!

Not a Movie or TV Show, but a friend sent me this YouTube Video & it blew my mind...

The guy (Ren) did it in 1 take (everything is live) & after Googling his life he's clearly talking about his battle with Psychosis & other ailments (recently hospitalized with Lyme Disease)

Again, not for everybody but I thought it was a work of genius & he will be remembered.

Okay, somewhere we went off on a tangent.

I was replying to GypsyT’s request for a movie called Desperation Road.

I did have a look for the Ronnie documentary on fmovies and it doesn’t yet appear, might come soon as it is very new ( Nov 23rd ).

Out of curiosity I did have a look on a streaming site I used in the past but abandoned as it was very “ buggy “.

( these sites do work differently for different browsers it may be okay for you )

Anyway , as luck would have it, I found it and it does play:

If, for any reason, you cannot watch this on this site you can google “ sites like fmovies “ there’s a lot and it surely will be on others also.
