Thai Tourism Grapples with Declining Chinese Visitors
Wow, chill dude, you’re irate. Get out of bed the wrong side? Drunk? Many here are just normal people that have had bad experiences with hordes of visiting Chinese and you’re not convincing anyone otherwise. I’m sure there are nice people in China and also visiting, but they generally don’t do themselves any favours when they come over in those big bolshy groups and start upsetting the locals. Any one people (including my own) piling into another country en-masse ain’t great and if the number from China is significantly reduced, it can only be a good thing. BTW, in case you hadn’t noticed, this is Thailand not Burma. 😋 -

Air Conditioners - Bought the Wrong Model
My latest purchase has been a TCL inverter 24k BTU, i'm very pleased with it but i really don't like the remote. The cost was 21K fitted and the fitting company retained the old Mitsubishi unit as part of the deal. I had fitted a Mitsubishi 24K BTU about a year ago cost 41K bht, the TCL cost was a no brainer. -

Democrats Face Backlash for Supporting Arrested Palestinian Activist Mahmoud Khalil
His case is being heard now in the courts, you are talking nonsense and arguing against established US immigration law and the numerous posts outlining the evidence and procedure already in this topic. Do you put this much effort into demanding the release of the US hostage still being held by Hamas in the terror tunnels, the same terrorists that Khalil supports?- 1

Road Under Construction Collapses on Rama II Road, Multiple Workers Trapped
Hehe you are not kidding. When i drive through there I am always on the lookout for something that may drop in front of me. There are no ways to avoid driving that though. This road has been a nightmare for several years already and it seems that more accidents are occuring now than before. Perhaps due to rushing the work or incompetence in the construction but it does not really matter anymore. Nothing will happen with any investigation. Payments will be made albeit small ones with the workers injured and construction will continue. I do worry though about the integrity of the road when it is finished. Will it be safe to drive on if it is not even safe when building it?
